Yeah! That's something I'm really enjoying with the remake, they added more stuff like this.

It's called Where Have All The Globbletops Gone? It's free on Itchio. I don't know how to describe the genre but it's like probably 40 minutes at most and you go around collecting silly creatures and recording entries in your book. It's not like Pokemon though, you can' t use them for anything, you just try to find them. I recommend it, I enjoyed it a lot.

Yeah, it always feels really werid to go through, you start with a cutesy level, stage 2 feels slightly creepy, and then stage 3 is like, the least threatening feeling final level to me. I didn't even think about the elemental setting detail, especially cause the levels in this world don't really feel like they connect too much.

Funny you say that, in the original version of the game, whenever you try pairing Goom Goom with any of the male partners, he mentions how "wrong" it is. Gotta remember that back when the game came out in 2004, gay marriage was still a big no-no in the West, but they since removed that in the remake.

They all feel kinda right, the game doesn't have many opportunities to have partners be upset. Ms. Mowz threatening people for insulting her is in-character, Yoshi is brash and unfiltered, Vivian is honest, Bobbery is straightforward, etc.

I think they’re all in character besides Vivian.

@@shoveltime4 at least we can agree Vivian is the most out of character, but I also feel like : - Flurrie would be better at replying to these kinds of comments considering she would surely have a lot of experience with this scenario - using the Yoshi should cause WAY more confusion. Like, not only, goomba guy, that is a newborn child, but also I'm pretty sure Yoshi has no concept of gay people by that point - Bobbery's dialogue just feels wrong to me and I don't exactly know how to explain why, like I would just rewrite it from scratch I guess Koops would be in character? I think all male partners mostly feel wrong because they act like they were a candidate when the goomba clearly asked for a girl. Sorry male partners, you don't get to be gay in this game 😔

This one was I pre-recorded months back, before I bought an actual mic. When I recorded this, I was still using my shitty headset mic. So Thousand Year Door has the good mic, but there's some games like this where I hadn't bought it yet.
