Hello everyone in the world and welcome to my CZcams channel. My name is Salvatoré Insinga. I collect toys, games, cosplay and larp gear. I enjoy traveling all over the country to visit new larps and attend toy conventions. I am a comedian, actor and show host and love being in front of and behind the camera. I have a passion for collecting and photographing the rarest and best toys in the world. I am an avid crafter, painter and designer of costumes and cosplays. I am a nerd at my core and these worlds captivate me. I am delighted to share them with everyone.

I got this for Christmas . They should have let an artistic person play with it to help improve this set ! The back is all white ! Horrible when figures can play behind it. Should have come with at least come with reusable markers ! I customize the shit out of mine because it made no sense ! I finished building it by adding walls and a roof for the workout are wich is now an arcade room with lights and i covered that track on the top because it was not supposed to be thire ... Wish they gave this set more thought and its so obvious they cut sooo many corners ! Not worth the 89 bucks at all . More like a 55 dollar set . I wont be buying any more tmnt stuff cas the quality is shit balls !
This is criminally underrated and I derviewed. Seriously, dude, this helped me a lot. I was thinking degreaser was the way to go, thank you for confirming that, but the process was where I was hung-up. Like the first Reply says, OIL THAT STEEL! It's easy peasy and no you don't have to dunk it in motor oil. A light coat is all you need. I have a kettle helmet, buckler and breastplate before I got the maille and all of them need oiling on like a monthly basis at the most. I've gone 3 without oiling and they were still fine. Just don't let them get up against anything you don't want getting oil on and keep them protected. Just my experience. Thanks again for the video sir!

How do you look after the plastic as i have a few from a few year's ago and the black is getting sticky
For hard plastic, I like warm water and purell, for rubbery figures I use small amounts of purell and micro fabric cloth.

Glad you brought up that last point. i was NPCing a game that was starting to allow some of the calimacil weapons, the where pretty but heavy, I only got hit by them when i was off guard because they swing heavy, but one i did I felt it a bit too much. most of the time it was fine, but another person there got head shot repeatedly by one and it was bad. I felt like they don't stand up to the speed of american larp combat, I think they give those types of weapons a bad name.
Is this figure actually part of the cartoon TMNT line? I thought the yellow and black one was the only Space Usagi that is part of this line.
This is a great question, because even tho it is the same sculpt as the toon line, this deviates greatly from the as seen in the original cartoon series universe, that the toon line is based on. This seems to go to the Sakai line that is releasing with that upcoming 4pack of Usagi Yojimbo in different expressions. Ultimately NECA has said nothing leaving it all subject to opinion.
@@TheWanderingLarperUSA Yeah, I think this figure is part of the Sakai Usagi line, just like the Year of the Rabbit 4 pack that you mentioned. I don't see 'TMNT' displayed anywhere on the packaging for this black and white figure, (but TMNT is plastered all over the yellow and black version that is coming out very soon).

Anyone doing this should make sure to recoat the steel in something else unless you really want that "Rat Knight" look. I stripped the oil off one of my mail shirts by dropping it in a bucket of sawdust and then used one of those cheap 'silver plating' solutions all over it (yes, I know it won't 'silver' plate steel like it would a non-ferrous metal, but it still leaves a coating on there) and after 2 years of use it's not got a speck of rust. The more expensive one I have is coated in 'Renaissance Wax' and that's just as good but it did take a lot longer to do till I pulled out a hair dryer to get it going.
