For the month of April, resident artist and educator Katy will be offering a weekly web mini-series covering various aspects of theatre, from choreography to acting, stage management, and more!
This week, check out Episode 4 of Ovation Academy: Class with Katy - Stage Combat Basics
Each week, Katy will post a mini-lesson and activity, with resources for further learning that can be enjoyed by students, parents, and families alike. At the end of the video, Katy will share the challenge for the week. If you complete the challenge, share your videos with us through the Google Form (below and on our website), and we might post it on our social media (with your permission). Finally, as an incentive, if you complete the challenge, you will be entered into a weekly drawing to win a prize. If you complete the challenge every week in April, you also will be entered into a raffle to win a grand prize. To be eligible for the raffle, each week’s challenge must be submitted by Saturday at 10pm. We are so excited for this opportunity to connect with you all and to continue to share the love of theatre, and we cannot wait to see your videos!
