Sentinel: Game-Changing ESP32 Board with RTC, SD, & Auto-Power, Transform IoT projects using Arduino
Sentinel is a new ESP32 microcontroller board we designed for environmental monitoring and IoT applications. With the support of PCBWay (pcbway.com/g/4C3M37), we took all the awesome things we learned in our past videos and squished them into this budget-friendly, super board. The Sentinel's got a real-time clock, an SD card slot, an auto-power circuit, and even supports batteries.
In this video, we will break down the Sentinel's design, show you its pinnout, give you a peek at its first test run, and even use it in an underwater pressure and temperature logger. Get ready for some fun with the Swiss Army knife of arduino compatible boards!

i do not understand the purpose of the multiple .ino files. Which one do i use? I assume it to be the code_sd.ino file. what is the purpose of the code_1.ino file? Where do i put the CSS.h and curve.txt file? on the sd card?

Hello sir, your project works really well except for the download and upload speed limitation. Is there any way to increase the upload speed. Currently I am able to get upto 48KBytes/s upload speed and 50KBytes/s download speed. If you have any solution please let me know. Thank you

I would have liked to understand what you were saying but unfortunately your enunciation and speed of speech was a garbled mess , and yes I adjusted the sound and volume , but it did not work. The problem i am having is human , I'm sorry I'm not bi-lingual but just thought I would let you know. I have found the problem on other sites as well but I just don't go back. It looks like you've got copper on the PCB under the module antenna which is likely to impair wireless signal strength.

Nice work and explaining how this board been done, good idea using a magnet for enabling download mode for the data, i want do something like that on my ESP32CAM DIY wildlife camera project - so thank you again.
Would like using the mesh topology; self healing and auto-configure, nodes can talk to gateway directly via others nodes, also a gateway can talk to nodes directly or via others nodes. Found your channel today, I love your energy and humor. Subscribed immediately 😊

Very nice work, the board seems great!
Nice design. Would maybe like to see pads for optional camera module connector and maybe a mosfet for turning off the cam module's power if it doesn't have low power sleep capability. I could see using this in a fire detection & suppression system - enough CPU to send snapshots for confirming what is happening, but mostly just waking up occasionally and sampling the air.

This is exactly what I’m looking for. I’m not yet sure how to implement it, but I have an M5Paper e-ink device ran by an ESP32. I’ve been looking for a way to manage files on the built in SD card over wifi so I don’t have to pop it in and out.
