Great tips! I do exactly what you mentioned, 30 minute slots when I can during semester. Very few photo references of the island, so I have to use my imagination to come up with a suitable composition. Great vids mate!

absolutely ! Must look for her books now, I love all those genres too. I do heaps of reading while camping, instead of painting...oops. LOLOL

The volume of your music is much louder than when you speak. Personally I prefer to hear the sounds of nature...just a thought

Loved the scene there Rod…I live in Canberra and we are so blessed with very similar amazing scenes around here along the Murrumbidgee R, Pine Island, Point Hut Crossing and the old bridge at Tharwa. Even Lambrigg Lookout is magic! I’m a tour guide at Lanyon Homestead and the scenes around there are breathtaking! I’m spoiled for choice!! 😄👍🏻🤗

Monday Motivation

I learnt how to paint just following your CZcams guides that you posted up for free. I learnt so much from them even in their edited form. Couple years later I'm still painting. Thank you for that. I would love to see the same format now but more advanced pictures that I can take my painting to the next level.

Awesome video Rod...fun to see the local area !!! I have been to Stanthorpe and was amazed at the drop in temperature.. Beautiful location to paint!! Love the drone footage too...I just bought the easel Ron is using...cant wait to get it!!!
