I recorded this Space X launch from my backyard using the Insta360 X4 camera. I synchronized the footage with Spaceflight Now’s livestream. I used a DJI Mic 2 in bluetooth mode to transmit the audio feed to the X4 and used the audio to synch the separate video feeds. That's why you hear a slight echo. It was past dusk and the ambient light was rapidly fading so, you'll see the X4's limitations ...

Unfortunately there was no sun with a thick marine layer. But, temps were ideal - cool and low humidity. Rode from Ventura northward to Mussel Shoals and beyond. Path was along PCH and the Rincon Bike Trail. Footage was captured with the Insta360 X4 action camera. Recording settings: -1 EV, flat color profile, and low sharpness. Edited in Final Cut Pro X. Soundtrack: Moon, "No Pressure".

Was intrigued by the filmstrip effect and so I created a generator in Apple Motion. I then added the Bad TV filter in Apple Final Cut Pro. Unfortunately, the generator does not accommodate the accompanying audio - go figure. I sampled recent mountain biking (360 videos) for this demonstration.

More footage from my recent mountain bike ride at Pt. Mugu State Park this past Memorial Day weekend. I purchased this Insta360 X4 with my own funds and was excited to test its capabilities while mountain biking. Employed my own third person mount to attach my X4 on my bike - am quite pleased with the video output. Although, it's best viewed on small screens and not large TV's.

Yes, of course. Multicam edits are better than static shots; Nope, Prime maintained his equilibrium and never fell down; search elsewhere for similar videos and you'll see that he moves fluidly between poses.

Interested in this product: Do I need any mods for my GoPro Hero 7 to make the lens work? Or do I simple remove the lens filter cap on the 7 and screw this one on? Anything I should know?
remove the lens and then slightly zoom via digital control ... so that's less than optimal - more of a gimmick for the GoPro

@FLG8R, I have the basic trutrainer. Thinking to add the platform and bumper wheels. I see that you have the platform as well, but not bumpers wheels? What you think about those? Do you think they are useful?
Platform for sure ... bumper wheels not necessary in my opinion; i've owned the TruTrainer since 2015, i've only fallen off the rollers once and that's because i was momentarily inattentive; i don't want to be lulled into a false sense of security with the bumper wheels; i want to remain focused the entire time i'm on the rollers. i'd rather get the SmartLoad Power Roller Upgrade.
