How SUBMARINES Produce OXYGEN Through Electrolysis And Thermal Decomposition
Humans inhale oxygen and exhale carbon dioxide. So unless Submarines come back to the surface on a regular basis, at some point all the oxygen in the cabin will run out and the sailors will suffocate. But unlike older World War 2 era submarines, modern submarines dive for extended periods of time. In fact a nuclear submarine that doesn’t have to recharge its batteries will submerge underwater for months at a time even. Which begs the question, how do submarines produce the oxygen needed to keep sailors alive? Well it’s a combination of electrolysis and the use of candle canisters. In electrolysis, submarines run electricity through desalinated water to separate oxygen from hydrogen. They then pump the oxygen into the cabin and vent the hydrogen gas into the ocean. As for the candle, when you apply heat to sodium chlorate, it releases oxygen, some of which is released into the cabin and the rest of which is then used to burn the iron powder. The iron powder then creates heat which used to create oxygen. This cycles continues until the candle burns out. These candles are not only used in submarines, but in airplanes and spaceships as well.

How FOUCAULT PENDULUM Works and Proves Earth is a Round SPINNING Sphere

Earth’s roundness is obvious to any who care to observe, but the fact that Earth spins on its axis is not as apparent. French physicist Leon Foucault wanted to remedy this situation so that the masses could experience Earth’s rotation with their own eyes. As Dayton Miller proved , the fringe is periodic and aligned with the sun and moon's position. This was confirmed by Galiuv and Wong in the 21st century with our most precise instruments. Oh , and Wong also proved linear motion can be measured with interferometry, and he patented a speedometer based upon his work. What that means is , Yes, Einstein was wrong , but only about everything he thought except that you can not measure Earth to be moving. And he was wrong about his reason.

    Bernoulli applies to the flow and pressure of a fluid that travel though a pipe of varying diameters. A sail is an airfoil that produces lift, yet it has exactly the same length on each side. Newton's laws of motion fully explain the pressure differential between the two side of the sail without any help from Bernoulli. And there is no "constriction" on the lee side of a sail.

    • @aerospacedoctor
      @aerospacedoctor Před 18 dny

      Jeffrey you must have accidentally deleted your comment... oh no, let me reply again. Bernoulli is also applicable in external flows, it is literally derivable from Euler or the Navier-Stokes, people just don't understand when you can use it. Outside the boundary layer, and if gravity is not applicable, you can use it. If the flow starts with the same total pressure, and it does not experience viscous losses, you can track the change in static and dynamic pressure, and hence always relate a lower pressure to a faster flow speed, and a higher pressure to a lower flow speed. So, yes, if there is a pressure difference on the two sides of a sail, there is a difference in flow speed.

    That is not the Coanda effect, the Coanda effect is the viscous entrainment of fluid by a jet of the same fluid moving through it. What you are describing is call the continuum hypothesis, and it says that a fluid contains no voids, because it they did, there would be a pressure gradient which would force fluid to fill that void. By this logic, a wing could never stall. Also, this is a pseudo ski effect illustration that suggests the molecules of air below the wing bounce off the wing and are forced down. This is also a misconception. Finally, the flow pattern shown with the air flowing downs at the angle of attack would predict that lift is proportional to the sin of the angle (while if molecules bounced off the bottom it would suggest a sin square relationship). Sadly, the coefficient of lift varies linearly with the angle of attack, until stall! Hence, this is falsifiably wrong!

If you got too close to The Maw, the black holes would drag your ship in and you would be dead. But how close is "too close"? It depended on the mass and speed of your ship. Imperial ships were large and therefore couldn't get as close as the small smuggling ships, which is why the Kessel Run would bring the smuggler as close as was dared to The Maw. But the closer the smuggler gets to the gravity of the black holes, the faster his ship needed to be to escape the gravity. Han Solo's brag was NOT a mistake; he was saying his ship was fast enough to shortcut the Kessel Run down to only 12 parsecs (i.e. closer than anyone else) and still escape The Maw's gravity.

    So typically, a focault pendulum is attached to the ceiling. So are we saying the floor beneath it is turning independently. That makes absolutely no sense. The earth doesn't turn underneath a hovering helicopter

    So how does that work when it is supposedly rotating with earth? It is easy to see that the earth is level and stationary and that it is the sun that is moving by taking an individual photo of sun spots each hour from "sunrise to sunset".
