Is the 5R110 bigger or smaller than the ZF6? I’m going to do this swap for my 69 F250. I don’t mind cutting it up as it’s a 2wd and not a highboy but if I can cut a little bit less I would prefer to do so and to control the 5r110 I’m assuming the standalone harness will allow me to use the stock 5r110 pcm?

You got another 6.0 swap! You been busy that mustang turned out nice. Only thing i can think it may need is now add another turbo or two. Nothing crazy just a China gt45 or a couple little hair dryers off Ebay mostly just for the aesthetics. All the charge piping done right that would really set the car off.

Planning to do an engine swap in my mustang, its a 98 ford mustang. Currently has a 3.8l v6 and a 5 speed. I plan in keeping the transmission but upgrade the gearset to a gforce gearset rated for 600hp/600ft-lbs with a transfercase for 4wd (it will be an insane daily driver.) Im stuck between a vortec 5.3 and the 6.0 powerstroke. Not sure which one would be worth while.

Planning to do a 4wd conversion like WT_Fox did for his 95 fox body but it will be a 5 speed manual with a tcase. Though diesel sounds good but i dont wanna have CHP chasing my ass down on behalf of EPA and dthe state of califoornia for even smelling my car running on diesel. Not to mention diesel prices... >.>
