Hi, glad you enjoyed Criccieth castle, it was really good, a shame about the weather considering how wonderful it was the day before To stay on a THS you need to be members of The Camping and Caravanning Club, the THS are brilliant value at about £10 - £15 per night but only have VERY basic facilities N&Axx

Glad you enjoyed it, we certainly enjoyed the ice cream’s, how does the saying go “not bad weather, just bad clothing” N&Axx

Archie is settling into his adventures, he seems to enjoy being away in the van. Up next is a trip to Criccieth and its castle N&Axx

@@benivanadventures lol, it was a typo... we worked in the Loire for 4 summers! So I do know the difference and we will try to get to both areas in 2025. :)

Le Loir seems to be much quieter , you must have had a great time working in the area

Thanks for taking the time to comment, in general we only use mains for low wattage appliances, fridge, van charger unit and a low wattage kettle, sometimes the microwave if nothing else is on. If you can find out the wattage of an appliance you have, divide that by 230 (voltage) and that will give you the amps needed to run that item Hope that helps, in any case most EHU units have a reset switch so if it does trip you can reset it Have a wonderful time when you are in Europe, there is so much to explore you will love it N&Axx

We understand about the power - Ta Keep up your great vlogs - we are enjoying the places you’ve visited, your practical info. & we must say the 3words locations are very v helpful too! It’s a brave new world for us!! Free versus camping car v wild camps etc !!! We are even interested to hear when you use the potable water v when not !! :-)

@HermionefromAustralia001 In general we don’t have any issues with potable water in France, if there is only one tap next to the Elsan / black waste we do not use it We only use tap water for boiled drinks and buy bottled water to drink N&Axx

Hi, thanks for taking the time to comment again, it’s always nice to hear from regular viewers, the castle was fabulous, a shame we visited the same time as a hundred French school students. I really enjoyed the oysters but can’t say the same for Adele, as for the tart, well what’s not to like , especially as it was made with a large shot of calvados N&Axx

@@benivanadventures perhaps they should have special times for schools!!! I'm glad I'm not alone re the Oysters and I love Calvados, so I'm relieved the tart was in keeping with our French expectations!!!

Thank you for taking the time to comment, there are some beautiful villages to explore in France, especially in this part of the country, not being on the main tourist route it always felt quiet and peaceful There’s nothing like fresh bread from a boulangerie but these from the vending machine were not too bad Look out for the next video where we explore the Alpes Mancelles region N&Axx

@@benivanadventures yes, it looks very peaceful. I love going into boulangeries and being dazzled by what’s on offer but the machines are better than nothing I suppose. Oh good, I’ll look forward to the next one.

Thank you for taking the time to comment, if you are staying at the aire at bleriot plage, Calais they are undertaking maintenance work, it’s open but may be a little noisy during the day. Loosing Izzy left a massive hole, we found it difficult at times during the trip, we weren’t going to have another dog but Archie found us Have yourselves a lovely trip N&Axx

Thank you for taking comment, it was our first trip without Izzy and was very difficult at times. On a happier note, we love mooching around French supermarkets so different from here at home, much fresher, seasonal food. Plenty more videos to come, we hope you enjoy them N&Axx
