Thank you and great questions! The replacement wheels I used are from Kadee, they are 33" smooth back side. Part number 520 code 110 wheels. Walthers also makes replacement wheels but the Kadee's look a little better. You can also use 36" wheels depending on thr passenger car youre working on. Any local hobby shop usually has them. Or you can look online at places like Lombard Hobbies or Model Train Stuff. For the truck tuner, Amazon actually has them last I looked. Just search for Micromark Truck Tuner. Thank you! I used the Anycubic Mono 4k for this, the main thing is just about 3 second layer time, 8 initial layers at 35 seconds each. And print at an angle. I should've used more supports on the longer one with the mini crane on the back because it warped a little, but overall not bad. Thank you! 1 inch thick is what I chose for this! But it's up to you, if you have anything over 1 inch you probably don't need fully plywood underneath either you should be able to get away with just a frame to hold the foam board.

Atlas can be a pain, so from what I know of those the trucks have a bottom cover over them that has 4 clips (2 on each side). Gently pry those up just a hint so they life over the clips, if you do it on one side usually you can just take the whole cover off without doing it on the other side. Once that cover is off the truck side frames slide offend you'll see the pickups that are on the axle ends. If you're not in a big hurry about it I'd be happy to make a video on it for you here in the next week or two.

Hello! Yes, they are. Depending on the locomotive you're working on, there will either be screws in the dcc kit for it or screws already in the frame of the locomotive you can use.

So in UP 844, I'm putting about 6-10 drops in per stack. In the CN diesel, I'm using 10 drops. If you're unsure, start out with 5 drops. Do a quick, sharp blow, then add 2 more and another blow. If it looks too full (you see fluid at the top that won't go down) use the corner of a paper towel or napkin to soak up a little.

Start with 6 to 8 drops, make sure to give it a good quick sharp blow inti the stack afterwards to get any air bubbles out. Then if you notice the smoke starting ti get less visible add another 6 or so drops.

Those are some great things you do there! I also add metal wheels to some, but not if u don’t rub them that often. I agree though these are definitely my new version of the blue bod kits! Plus I don’t feel bad wearing these verses a more expensive piece of rolling stock.

Yeah I am surprised at how long it does take for the old fluid to get worked out! They have so many good ones too! Had a friend give me the popcorn one that’s pretty good too.

It was this last weekend, I heard about it as a last minute thing. There’s an upcoming swap meet in the Hobby Lobby parking lot in April, I think the 16th. But I agree it’s always hard to find any, especially since the Kate Shelley Division isn’t doing it anymore either.
