Hello fellow youtubers. I am a sports fanatic with lots of vintage footage of classic games, sports videos and some of my own personally made highlight reels put together over the years as well as some occasional personal commentary, which I hope to be doing more of.
I also have a love of old school video games and some other assorted stuff, which I may surprise you by uploading every once in a blue moon, although I will mostly focus on sporting events. I love the Yankees, the Knicks, the Giants and yes, hockey I'm undecided, I've offended many New York sensibilities in rooting at times for both the Islanders and Rangers. When pushed, I get excited for the Islanders more, but I've never been able to disavow the Rangers either. Anyway, hope everyone enjoys, and if you wish to throw a donation my way for my content, feel free. If not I won't hold it against you. Have fun.

I have goosebumps watching this
As a Dodger Fan… you can’t cheat on swings ngl and connecting with the ball. Or fielding and baserunning they were going balls out. Yeah I know they cheated but watching this years later it’s like but they still executed
Playing the next day is crazy 😭

Great video. This is the first series I ever watched as a kid.
George wanted to win at all cost.....Big difference.
This year will mark the 20th anniversary of one of the most historic moments in sports history!
28:38 - A visual of the last part of Al Michaels announcement finally surfaced on CZcams (In 2014 of course).
The Houston Comets was the only Houston I cheered for
There is nothing more beautiful as a Red Sox fan than seeing a Yankees pitcher on the mound when Dirty Water starts playing.
I may be biased as a Knicks fan, but I would rate the 69-70 Knick’s as the best “TEAM” in NBA history. Between the starters and the bench, I can’t remember another “Team” that was better.
Million idiotic commercials. Not worth it
I watched this VHS over and over as a kid until the tape wore out. The 91 Twins were magic.
I’m 36. I followed the Comets since a kid. Swoopes was always my favorite player. They need to bring the franchise back
All of today's WNBA players need to watch these old games that features Theresa Weatherspoon Cynthia Cooper Lisa Leslie Becky Hammon and the rest of the pioneers and play just as aggressive as them and block them as they go down the court. This was great basketball then. I would rather watch the WNBA over the NBA. I was a little boy watching these legends play in the 90s with my 3 older sisters who had Hammon Leslie Cooper Swoopes Weatherspoon as their heroes. I know Sue Bird is not a pioneer but she plays like a pioneer and Caitlin Clark, I like their playing styles as they take over like the WNBA ledgends
I remember being in the 9th grade in High School in NYC all I would hear was the Knick's Willis Reed and Walt Frazier I would hear those two names all the time that was the year I became a Knicks fan and then when they won the title that year I was hearing it all over the news and in the schools, first it was the Mets winning the World Series then it was the Jets winning the Superbowl then the Knicks winning the NBA title, NYC was full of Champions between 1969-70 Amazing
Because its trash, and an activist league
i coached hoops for 50 years, this was my first team that showed me the game could be beautiful, they still inspire me, Waltons blazers, and Spurs with Duncan/Gino... those 3 champions allowed my teams to have incredible success--that and having awesome players :)
Crowd was going crazy until that shot 😃
I remember watching this game I was 20 years old!! Cynthia cooper was the female Michael Jordan of the wnba back in the late 90’s and the early part of the 2000’s
I can remember when the HR record was probably the biggest record in all of sports. Bonds destroyed the importance of that record...
Oh my god I was about 15 yrs old, I was at this game!!!! It was such a fun time, these were the days man, these were the real ballers. T-Spoon stunned everybody. Met her in real life, such a nice person, cool down to earth.
MIKE BREEN A LEGEND
Good year for New York Teams Jets Mets, Knicks
That is why at the end of a world series now in New York they have the field surrounded by cops on horseback.
Why Gil told his players to polish their shoes.
That play where grote went to second leaving first base open for an intentional walk. That was why sometimes Willie Mays would stop at first so they would have to pitch to Mcovey.
See how Grote throw the ball back not to the pitcher's mound and tom seaver caught it in his glove and threw it to the pitcher's mound.
Grote was inches away from hitting 2 homers in the 73 series.
Said on the Ken Burns baseball documentary that JIm Plamer's complexes had complexes. Baltimore and weaver was the only place he could play.
Weis was a .218 hitter but he came from the American league so he knew the Orioles.
Leo said it was his fault that the Cubs lost the lead because he made the players play too many games and they just got tired and lost.
Swoboda played in the little league for Aunt Mary in Baltimore.
Grote said once the 73 team was the Miracle. The 69 team was good.
Earl Weaver was the original manager to use Analytics. Never sacrificed because he figured out that if he let the hitter hit he had the same chance of advancing the runner if he had the hitter sacrifice. I think I just typed in Stenlgese.
Yankees were terrible also after 1964.
Stenglese.
Robert Moses was to blame.
“Even the most hardened Yankee foe had to crack a little”. Nope. Not me. I hated them more after that. And for the following seven years after THAT. None more so than 2003.
One of the greatest games of all time
In life you lose more than you win …it’s sad but that’s life
Bill Buckner great human being! Deserved better
Was 8 years old and remember like it was yesterday
Greatest nba team ever
Dream matchup Willis reed and ny Knicks playoff series/ battles against Dave Cowen and healthy John havlichek & Boston Celtics 1973&1974
I cried and still cry seeing this. I am a lifelong fan of my beloved Yankees.
All the comets players could do was smile ….such a legendary shot! I remember as a kid witnessing this live.
I can remember when the WNBA first started, i pray to see the women reach the level of there counterparts, salary and endorsement, this series was a great battle HIGH intensity and the fans have been real die hard in prospective over the years, opinion only, Today's game came from a sturdy foundation, salute
I remember running through my house screaming with T Spoon hit that shot. The only thing that would have made that even more special is if it had happen at the Garden that place would have become unglued!! Great childhood memories too bad for the Liberty though reality set in next game.
Whats crazy is the marlins have won 2 world series but has never won there division...
