There is no such thing as being in a caloric deficit and not lose weight. Your body can't create mass without energy therefore if you are gaining weight you're not in a caloric deficit.

I am 61 years old and have lost 32 pounds in the last year and have been trying to lose the last 10 pounds and has realised that I am slowly slipping back to my old and habits! HIIT is primarily used to improve Vo2 max. Not burn fat and not to gain muscle.

Sodastream bottles are meant to be exchanged. It seems like you collected some empty ones. Either you return your old bottle and get a cheaper new one or if you don‘t want a new one, you get money back.

Dang! You covered it! Great job. My total weight loss goal is 20 pounds and that would get me to a really flat stomach. I dropped 7 pounds the first month and now I'm going back way off with a goal of 3 pounds per month. I eat a Whole Foods diet and only eat between 10 and four. And I don't eat on Sundays. 8000+ steps per day six days a week. And now I'm trying to kick myself in the ass and get the strength training in three days a week. But that's working for me. I used MyFitnessPal for the first couple of weeks just so that I have a better understanding of calories. Now that I understand it I don't count calories anymore. One yummy cheat meal per week max.
the reason why they never reach their goals is because they have no gyatt, no rizz, and they pay for crappy courses and programs instead of putting in the work themselves!

Best fat loss I ever did was taking up Ceroc dancing - in my younger days. Try busting some moves on the dance floor for 2 hours! Mean six pack. 😂 Now I just try to keep the steps up! Great video thanks 🇳🇿

So all I need to do is change my diet and exercises as you said only count for 20% while diet is 80%. That's an interesting statistic

Hi Ivana,you were talking directly to me. I have been off weights for a month since vacation and eating too little.My problem is that I cannot eat more than 1300 whole-food calories. I am 65, female, 130 pounds. I just can’t seem to up my food to gain more muscle. I have been lifting on and off for 24 years. How can your coaching academy help me, as I need direct guidance on nutrition to get in more food? I always eat 130 or so grams of protein. I eat well but not enough. Thank you.
I found what helped me move from junk food sweets etc is mini 3 months challenge not to have any Now where I see that stuff 2 years later I got 0 cravings for any of it even if eaten in front of me
Sometimes challenges like that can be helpful. They show you that you CAN go without certain foods and it helps break the habit. But in some cases, those desires come back even stronger.

its possible to be very lean and no 6 pack, abs are also a muscle so if you dont train them they wont really show, how do i know? I was 102 pounds at 6 feet back in september, single digit bodyfat but no 6 pack, visable ribcage, sitting hurt sleeping in my bed hurt i was starving, no energu, basically shredded without the muscle kind of bodyfat. The fact i watech greg doucette's content saying "If you cant see abs, your fat" didnt help me and gave me body dysmorphia.
Sorry to hear about your experience. I talk about the fact that abs are a muscle that can be trained (to a certain extent) in other videos. Also, I emphasize that building muscle all over through weight training and appropriate nutrition tends to bring out the abs as well. There's a difference between being very skinny and being "shredded". The latter tends to require a good level of muscle.
@@IvanaChapman i am 136 pounds and 6 foot 1 now and here is what i notice, i can only see my abdominals when im not bloated and when im on a empty stomach i might be able to see a very faint 6 pack but i see a 4 pack but its not super noticeable as i have to look and flex it a bit to show. I have very skinny arms and my legs are lean. If i had to estimate my bodyfat im probably 12-14% I started abulk and weight training in late september of 2023, my abs are more visable now than when I started the bulk, my bodyfat has gone up a bit but I gained some muscle definition but still look pretty skinny in the mirror overall. I bulked aggressively until 125 pounds then decided to just aim to gain 2 to 2.5 pounds a month just so I put on more quality mass.

I have been eating 1400 calories (i am 15 and 130 pounds) and i walk briskly atleast 2-3 times a week for an hour. I also have dance practice every 4 days but im STILL sfuck at 59kg for 2 weeks can somebody l k what i should do?
I don’t even eat cakes or candies or snacks … I eat 3 meals a day. I walk a lot, take stairs, sleep enough. I still can’t lose any weight :(

Getting your walking fitness up will see you losing weight fast. I walk around 7 miles a day. I built up gradually, and my stomach is completely flat. I also quit all alcohol, refined sugar and processed foods.

I ate 800-1200 calories for 1.5 years, my hormones and digestion were disrupted, then I went on a reverse diet. I increased 50-100 calories from carbs and fat every week, but it did not help me recover that much.Then, I ate 3000-4000 calories for 2 months. My weight now is 56 and my height is 164 cm (l am a girl). I only gain 1 kilo or not every week. Do you think I should make a calorie deficit now or consume maintenance calories?l am skiny fat
That is an extremely high amount of protein to get in each day. At 150 lbs. I need to eat about 150 grams of protein? Is that correct?
That would be the maximum. If you're 150 lbs, then at least 0.7g/lb/day. That would be 105 grams. But I generally only use this if someone is within 20 lbs of their target weight. If you have more than 20 lbs to lose, use your target bodyweight to set the protein goal.

i don"t get it, there is around 7k to 8k of cal in a 1 kilo. During 3 weeks of time I had more or less a deficit of of 500 cal per day and yet I lost 3.5 kilo during that time. (I'm tracking my calories like a hawk during that time) it should not be possible? I mean it cannot be just water, I'm like three month in my diet now and I'm only 8 kilo away from my goal?
