yes for example - I didnt think of that - its actually one of the most common accidents - PIC flies over Wedding Party etc.. circles the crowd moving in closer and closer needing a n increasingly steeper bank angle while the angle of attack gets higher and higher - lets say two ppl are in the cockpit more common than you would imagine - of all 4 avail eyes onboard, no less than 4 are fixed on the Wedding guests and 0 on attitude indicators 0 eyes check the angle of attack and - yes thats right 0 eyes are glancing on the position of the needle inside the airspeed indicator - then a short stutter from the stall Horn the plane rolls left and looses altitude - a short moment the PIC is startled and overreacts the last move --- an actually very tiny likely even subconsciously executed move by reflex - the sudden loss in alt is compelling the startled pilot to pull on the sr20 sidestick and before he understands his error the SR20 (which especially tends to spin without any big warning ) falls into an asymmetrical stall of the left wing causing it to spin backwards - the throttle is increased by n another wrong subconscious reflex - and now the Powerplants and the right turning Prop seal the Spin into a hard to recover and never without a huge loss in altitude until hits the ground like a maple seed - spinning, uncontrolled around its Y Axis and falling down vertically almost unopposed by the little lift created thru the Spin... until 750.000 USD hit the ground near terminal velocity and usually kills no less than 2 and up to 3 or all occupants - or it hits in a vertical nose dive, while the PIC tries to recover the spin by pushing the sidestick forward and executing a full opposite rudder lock - in this case the plane can reach speeds in excess of 380 miles before it either disassembles into plastic junk or hits the ground - the nose down very high velocity impact always kills all aboard - in 95% of cases even the quickest reacting airman with super flying skills have no chance to deploy this ridiculous para-shoot - should you wonder... We had a Columbia 350 N6509Z stationed in Bremgarten Germany - the turbo version was called 400 and had better performance at altitude - I believe both had the 330 BHP Continental POWERPLANT - my Boss had a 400 I ask him later about motorization - we had the avedine suite which at the time was the alternative for the garmin 1000 - it had a three axis autopilot - at optimal mixture around half throttle (55%) she cruised at 155 KIAS on Flightlevel 120 while only consuming around 40 Gallons Avgas - It was often more economic to fl than drive m VOLVO V70 on long hauls - I had work to do near Barcelona a lot and the flight to Sabadell (something like Barcelona executive) from Bremgarten or at home from Zurich took less than 2hours - especially if france allowed a spontaneous direct routing - from Geneva direct to Parpignon - then we usually closed our zulu flightplan and I loved to fly VFR thru the valleys of the Pyrenees direct into a usually left hand pattern for Runway (I think 36)b Then my Business Partner and friend got himself an SR22 with all the bangs and whistles - at this time we manufactured our fuselages in Bielsko Biel in Poland - because they had a corporate landing strip that used to belong to some mining consortium and was perfect for us with a nice 1600 foot concrete RWY - in the winter I advise to call first and make sure the RWY is free of snow/ice - they dont do it on a regular basis but more on a demand system so I collected hours in the SR22 flying from our Berlin Office to our Liechtenstein HQ and to Bielsko Biel - I expected the SR22 to behave much like the Columbia - but not only does the columbia have this re- assuring sticker on the dash saying do not enter Loop below 120 Kts but also the wings of the columbia have a much more flexible and thereby offer a much more comfortable ride even in gusty weather the wings softly and sensitive react to air movements to then increasingly progressive swallow even strong ,sudden , rising or falling or shearing wind gusts its like an overpowered, aerobatic capable Sky Cadillac personal Airliner profile - the Columbias Wing Design is much more integral and complex - there is a torsion in the outer wing half essentially lowering the outer angle of attack ensuring the inner wing halves stall before the outer airfoils - this way the aircrafts ailerons stay effective longer and the Plane is still controllable even in a Stall - the Vref is 80 KIAS but with full flaps it has no problem approaching at 60 knots or even 55 KIAS - if If you feel the Stall Horn came on to soon - ou might not even die like ou would in a SR22 if it stalls - in the 350- give it 20% right rudder smoothly increase throttle and make sure she dont climb voila - - The SR22 on the other hand... has a parachute - a parachute---

however the wind direction and speed didnt need all that many things to go wrong in order to end in a catastrophy - that they underestimated the required manoeuvring space is evident by their initially rather modest Bank angle of around 20-30 deg.
