Great info. Redfish are my favorite fish to catch in the Bay. We fish for them similarly up in this part of the Bay. It's mostly a lot of searching and watching the sonar. I caught my first bull on a 2500 size reel. We had to chase it down. I'm going to use heavier gear this season.

Why not run the engine briefly to pump your antifreeze around into more of the block? Just a top fill does not get into all of the cooling paths. Run engine until it starts exiting the lower unit. Your 80% is a good start.

Can you confirm if there are white spots on the lower polytec hull? Like you can see the fiberglass a little bit. I have the same model and you can see those stains, and I couldn't tell if they came from the factory or if they came out new.

Did that patch last? Not how I would have fixed that. Should grind out all the bad material 1st and I'd ho for the chop mat and put way more layers, then gel coat and sand.
