Water leaking into the trunk is a common problem for the Hyundai Genesis Coupe. This is mainly due to the gasket behind the tail light failing. In this video, Aman demonstrates how we fixed his water leak problem by using a $20 weather-strip from Home Depot to replace the old leaky tail light.

Hello are you replacing the gasket with the weather seal or do you keep the gasket? Thx!
Hey Jeff, for this fix we kept the old gasket on. But you can take it off if you want. Just make sure you surround it with a weather strip really well. A new gasket actually isn’t too expensive too, so I would still consider it an option.

@@Meekmillan Very true! There are constantly people asking Aman what kind of car that is lol. People just love the coupe. I rarely see Geni's out there too. Maybe only like two to three a month. And its even more rare to see a modded one. So the fact that it's not an over hyped car is pretty cool.
@@Krevalz absolutely! I'm in Fayetteville NC with a population of like 210K. There's maybe 6 Gens in total that I see at least once a month, and that's including myself 😂 And on that people asking what it is note, it's frequent that when I put the "Hyundai" in front of genesis coupe people will usually seem let down or dismissive. But if I just say "Genesis coupe" people are inquisitive and impressed. Gotta love branding and stigmas lol
