Solo flight with a Grob G-115 from Salerno (LIRI) to Salerno (LIRI). After take off right turn to Salerno city. When I was come back I had performed a circle to land approch reporting the final 05 and then turn for 45 degrees to the right intercepting then the left traffic circuit for the runway 23, standard procedure for the airport of Salerno. Enjoy.
neat
I flew this aircraft today
You never turn off the fuel pump?
I turned OFF the fuel pump as a checklist after takeoff in climbing mode (500 ft AGL) minute 1:35 and i turned on it before turning ON circling approch for bank angle turn minute 2:05 and i turned again it OFF in after landing checklist vacating the runway minute 6:45. IT’S SAFETY THE CORRECT USE OF THE FUEL PUMP FOR SEMI ACROBATIC MANUVERING TO AVOID ENGINE FAILURE.
I fly the grob 115 in Nottingham. It’s a nice plane to fly in my opinion
A beautiful and very comfortable plane. I love the low wing very much, it flies very slow!
G-BPKF? Bc I fly the g115 in nottm too.
@@kianpapp6463 yes, I haven’t flown since January tho and I also flew in G-UFOE
@@ospreyaviation1109 cool. I’m currently working towards my ppl and despite having only a few hours under my belt. It does handle quite nicely when it’s trimmed out properly
@@kianpapp6463 I'm thinking of working towards my PPL as a complete newbie with a trial flight coming up in the G115 in the Spring. Would you recommend Sherwood Flying Club (I assume this is who you are with?)
I used to fly one of these back in 1994 for my CPL training in Bankstown, Australia. I still remember its best glide speed = 67 knots. This brings a lot of memories. Nice video!
yes it’s made to fly at low speeds, very comfortable!
