I referred to the cooker as an "Crockpot" several times but it is a Hamilton Beach version of the slow cooker. Crockpot is a name brand of a slow cooker. We own both brands.

Quick video: I do not usually use metal on a cast iron product. but these smash burgers need the wide metal spatula to keep them together. I usually cook them on my griddle top for my smoker, but tried this. They had a lot of smokey flavor from the lump charcoal.

I had tons of vines that died before any blooms happen. Any reason for that? Watered and fertilized them regularly FYI.
Did you plant according to the phase of the moon? It surprisingly makes a difference. I know all the old timers swear by it. I have seen the difference. Although I have never grown any Cranberry Beans myself, (these were given to me) i have grown many other types. Why did you add 2 cups of broth instead of 2 1/2 as the bag said?
It was an effort to keep the rice from turning into mush. The chicken produces some stock as well. I didn't want the rice to be too over cooked. It turned out really good. Thanks for watching

And Your making One Of my Favorite Meals but , my Recipe Is sn old Hungarian recipe So It's quiet a bit Different than Your's we do use Onions but use half Pork & half Beef and mix the Rice With the Meat beside that the seasoning a Little different but your Dose look Very Yummy OK take care stay safe and God Bless 🙏

I have just found these beans this year(2023), and at the produce stand I got them had them listed as October beans. They are so good. Kinda between a pinto and Lima taste. Very good, I’ve even put an order in with several farmers growing them now.
I bought a bag of dried cranberry beans and wondered about them. What do they taste like? Are they similar to pintos or limas?
To me, the fresh ones were kinda a mix in taste between the two. More like a lima
No seasonings? Salt and pepper?
Just presure cook them in 8-10 min...
