As far as I can tell it's the same as the original but with the main guitar missing, or maybe before it was added. The vocal is the same and the original fades out sooner.

The number of bands that commented on and respected T. Rex as an inspiration is amazing.

I love Superchunk, great band with a large catalogue of music. Definitely a rabbit hole worth going down. Yes it is true that Laura Balance left the band due to hearing issues, at the time she stated that she wanted to be able to hear her daughter as she grew. Laura is now in charge of the record label that she and Mac started, Merge records.

This was nice. It would do well in a movie ending credits.

phish is an incredibly talented band that have been together for a very long time. Normally they don't take turns soloing, it's a lot of full group improv and there's no one else like them. Check out live versions of Divided Sky, Fluffhead, and David Bowie(song, not artist) for some great examples if you're interested in more.

Thanks,Rod,for another introduction to a new band for me. The 70's were eye opening for me as I was 17 when that decade began. I was at concerts for many legendary performers while I was living in San Antonio,TX. Some made it big,i.e. Led Zeppelin and Alice Cooper,while others did not,such as The Mahavishnu Orchestra and Wishbone Ash. I could write a book about that decade.....

Never seen this before. I met Debbie right after Blondie performed in Oakland CA on NY Eve 1978. It would take a long paragraph to explain the situation, the short story is I got a kiss on the cheek and a Happy New Year wish, and I had to ask her for her autograph so my friends would believe the whole story.

one of my favorite songs of the 80s

I have the Australian version of High Voltage on CD. About 30 years ago, I had a neighbor that was taking a vacation to Australia. I gave him some money and wrote a description of the album cover. He laughed when he saw that the dog was actually pissing on the transformer.
