I remember their gig back then in Paris. Man, the guest's voice is INSANE live. The whole band was great as well though!

Ze hebben deze ook een keer in Bibelot gespeeld nog voordat Apocalypse and Chill uit was, toen zat alleen de naam "Combustion" er nog niet op, maar hele stukken waren wel hetzelfde.

It's funny, but I always immediately forget how tiny Merel Bechtold is in my head until I see her standing next to literally any other person, again. At least this is a way better crowd than they got stuck with on the 70000 Tons of Metal, thing.

Krabbhatt Probably not, music just sounds different when when it's being filmed with a phone and also the setting, like if it's inside or outside...things that like. I'm sure it sounds a lot better when you're there. Her voice sounds too low, but, again probably because of the above.

Was ist das eigentlich für eine kaputte Welt. Früher hat man sich nach vorn gekämpft um mit der Band abzufeiern, heute stehen die da nur noch blöde rum und drehen Filmchen, anstatt mal richtig die Sau rauszulassen. Und dann noch böse gucken wenn man die beim rumtoben anrempelt und das Handy dabei runterfällt, selbst schuld. Grad bei Acts wie Delain müsste mich schon was beißen bevor ich da Filmchen dreh, die dann meist vom Sound und Bild her eh fürn Popo sind.

same here. for sure , Charlotte is not the most consistent singer in this genre, but she have a very unique and interesting tone. and she did improve a lot over the years. very impressed by this one.

I had bought their records for years but only saw them live at this concert. I had always heared that they were an amazing live band but until you see them live you have no idea how good they are.

@@ZHSCP47 I agree. She is a perfect example how vocal tract is a delicate instrument and her consistency is not that great. I've seen pretty poor performances and great live performances by her. Studio releases sound great every time, of course, because there you can have another take if one doesn't go well. I think she has been getting more consistent with more experience, though.
