Did you have to pay separately for the waterpark? I just booked but they said it’s $34 for 2 people per day?
So sorry for the late reply. We were there on an owners account so the water park was included. I do believe the water park is an extra cost if not associated with an owners perks.

@briancolw we appreciate your sincerity with your comment. This video is a couple of years old and we actually have lost some weight. Life has happened and we haven’t made any vlogs in a while however.

The room we had was much smaller, not as furnished, and not as clean...be warned if you are a family of four or three...
We have stayed in the smaller studios as well and I agree with you 100% on that.

Yay, that’s such a great coaster 🤗
It sucks, but the parks do not want to spend the extra money to engineer for larger people... this is one of the reasons I stick to knoebels, as someone who is 6'2" and 330 lbs I can ride everything, except the kiddie rides and kiddie coaster But after watching many of these videos I am thankful as you saved me a fortune... however I do know Tornado is a definite yes for e as it was made by Arrow Dynamics and they accordate some pretty beefy riders
I’m down some weight, approximately 50 pounds, since this video and can ride only a couple that I couldn’t in this video~Denise

I can do rollercoasters but I cannot do the pirate ships or any back and forth rides. It does something to my body.
I am 5'9" 250lb with 40" waist, short legs, long torso and a lot of chest for a man. I can barely squeeze on Lightning Rod. The rows with the longer seatbelts are better, but ultimately it is a fight to get the restraint down on any row. I got my first back off on Mystery Mine. I have ridden it before, but on my most recent trip, I could not get the harness down enough on my chest. None of the other rides in the park are any issue for me.
I for sure think it’s how weight is carried for sure. I’ve lost some weight since this video and can ride a couple that I couldn’t then so hopefully by next season I can do more~Denise 😊

I was so happy to find your video and had high hopes that more rides would have bench seats. As I suspected Dollywood didn't choose rides with larger guests in mind. We'll save our money and choose other venues this summer.

I find this really sad. They really need to have at least 3 carts that can fit taller and bigger people...
Yes. I’m actually down about 40 pounds since this video came out and was able to do Fire chaser Express and saw a tall average weight man having lap bar issues. I can very snuggly fit on the extended seat for wild eagle now but it was too uncomfortable to actually ride it this go around. Mystery Mine was still a no as was Lightening Rod. Maybe next time 🤞🏻😊~Denise

This was very helpful. The last time I was at an amusement park I didn’t see any tester seats. This is a really good idea.
Does anyone know if the trip is worth the money? Would love to take my wife here but it looks to be more of a family oriented (kids) place. Would anyone recommend it for a young couple ?
Ya I went there for my birthday with my family , it wasn’t that expensive and it’s a really good place for everyone they changed a lot of things . And there is this big red slide that was HUGE so yes, I heavily recommend it ! 😊

All the best in your weight loss journey... you are not alone in this i totally understand your suffering since i am facing the exact same health issues, PCOS, insulin resistance, hypothyroidism, and was in your shoes with pregnancy issues and weight loss during pregnancy, and enormous weight gain after a year of delivery, same, none of the diets worked and I'm still trying

I carry my weight in my hips and thighs, size 20/22 pant, and could ride the brand new Big Bear Mountain coaster. The attendants suggested crossing my ankles then sitting and it worked well.
The whistle punk chaser doesn't have a test seat. It is a kid coaster, but my daughter always wants me to ride it with her. It just has a pull back lap bar. I'm 5'5" and built like April, same pant size. I can fit, but for the bar to lock, I have to turn kind of sideways. It is quite uncomfortable and leaves very little room for my legs. My daughter loves it though, so I guess it is worth the bruise I always end up with the next day after riding the whistle punk 3-5 times.
Ouch…I haven’t attempted it because it’s one of those that you just kinda know 🥴 I have a niece who goes with us occasionally that will ride it when Gabe wants to. Thanks for sharing your experience with that ❤️~Denise
I’m 6’1 320 n could only fit on Blazing Fury. Disappointing and embarrassing when you trying to fit with everybody watching and then talking walk of shame,but we’re big and beautiful for a reason. Thanks for sharing
