@@walleyperch no you can see in the video they are mostly catching them in the mouth you cant keep snag fish and everyone one that river is flossing.. there is technique to it, you throw your line up stream and let the line drift down, while the fish swim up the stream the line usually runs through the mouth and you set that hook... if you throw your line out and then start yanking it back recklessly then your most likely gonna snag and be in one hell of a fight.. but wit good technique you can limit out real quick

@@walleyperch It is basically a form of "legal" snagging because the fish are not actually biting your bait/presentation. You pretty much attempt to snag them in the mouth so it is considered a legal catch.

@@jack_schmidt33 to me if they don’t bite it’s not fishing - I’m shocked that it’s legal. I guess as the stocks go down they’ll have to ban it…

Once a Sockeye salmon hits fresh water they quit eating and don't bite anything. If it wasn't for legal flossing nobody would ever catch one and Fish and Game wants to allow some catch.

Alaska will soon end up like that.
