Mini Barn Move at the Shop-It Sprouted Wheels!
HI all! Well in preparation for a new garage, our mini barn had to move to a different location on our property. In this video you will see how we tackled the move with what I would say is unconventional in terms of a building move. Show you how the unconventional plan was designed and built and then implemented. Along the journey you will see the use of my Festool Jigsaw using the Festool circle cutting jig. And some other tools like ARTY our CNC machine to make some parts for the design.
Enjoy and hope you like seeing the jounrey. And a BIG Thank you to the boss Linda for all her help as we moved the mini barn to its new location.

      I don't really know if its have to reaturn de oli from jacks or I don't know how can I know if jacks nat working

      @slhasebroock Před 4 měsíci

      Well, I guess the seals in the hydraulic cylinders could be bad and the oil is leaking by rather pushing the jacks. On mine it was the pump, but I suppose could be the cylinders. @@Estevan-yw8ey

    Thanks Steve for the video, I wish I had found this out long ago even though you only made the video 2 years ago, I have the brass inserts. By the way what sort of Arty is it? I have the Arty 58 but I think it was manufactured in 2012 maybe earlier as it has 2 rails to support the tailstock. Cheers Alan

      This has worked out great for me! So far none of the threaded holes had failed and happy with the top. I didn't do brass inserts as I am paranoid about crashes and what to crash into mdf or plastic. But brass would certainly last forever. Thank you for the comment. My Arty is a 36. Starting to learn conversation cam so I can do rotary work.

      Yes I have to spruce up on Ccam. I have V5.5 and it does not warrNt me to upgrade to the newest version (approx $750 Australian) it is hard to find tutorials on you tube as the old account was hacked or closed, that is how I came across your site. It was on impulse that I bought it just to muck around when I retire, I will never get my money back but I am happy with my machine although could be another 150mm (6 inches)wider. Cheers

      $750 for the newest version of Ccam. Wow that's nuts! Must have totally revamped it. Yes, when you start using the CNCs the projects get bigger, and the machine seems smaller! 🙂@@BungalowBill58

    How do you adjust the belt tracking.

    • @slhasebroock
      @slhasebroock Před 2 lety

      The tracking roller is hinged and has a knob on the adjusting bolt, this allows tracking changes. It's on the top rear roller.

    First time out must involve some apprehension going in. This video gives me more incentive to follow your path. I am 77 yrs & considering an early Biblical model Wood Miser. The LT 40 hd seems well thought out & really solid. Hope to see a follow up video with your commercial yard in full swing. Slow and easy & best from Canada.
