No expert at all but have taught many how to drive stick. Think the first thing you need to do is go through everything before even starting the car from seatbelts and mirrors all the way up to being perpendicular to the cross street when turning left. She giggles too dang much though. Tell her if she doesn't take it seriously you won't let her drive for a year.

Been there, done that, with my then 16-year-old daughter. I would have canceled it after a minute. Repeatedly taking your hands off the steering wheel while the car is moving is a no-go. Looking somewhere else instead in front of you is the same. If your eyes are itching that bad, don't drive. If you are dead tired, don't drive. Driving a car is serious business. Sorry if that is quite harsh, but she really didn't give the impression, that being behind the wheel right now was a good idea.

I encountered a ran over snapper about a week ago it was still alive when i stopped and hoped it haddent been hit but it was i would've moved it from the road but i knew it was a snapper and its back leg and shell whete crushed. I decided to leave it, hating the hope that some car would kill it fully. I came back 3 hours later and it looked dead but with no other marks on it. Rip turtle friend
