Why didn’t you apply new seal, water and dust will enter so easily

A good guide but no mention of removing old adhesive or reapplying a new adhesive strip between the screen and the body. The waterproofing isn't there on an iPhone 7 but I thought the screen adhesive gave it a degree of water resistance? O.K. this requires detaching the screen but this is only a couple more screws and connectors. Don't you guys think it's worth it?

Thank you so much. Love you show how to open AND close it. I had a slightly different kit. I didn't notice that some screws are different lengths...that's why you have the chart on which screws go where...I just looked at you guys put longer or shorter screws in correct slot, also forgot to power off my phone. Still was able to get new battery in and worked right away. You guys rock!

hey I have an iPhone 7 plus 32GB super happy with it but it is that the last one when I record a video with the front camera it gives my voice but muffled with hissing sound but if I rub a few times with a small piece of sharp object then in the hole where the mesh and ear speaker is freed very slowly then he does it again for a while and automatically falls back to the muffled with hissing sound and then I have to repeat this again but I want to get rid of this but the front camera is replaced enough to solve this or has the ear speaker been replaced? Using with front camera only works without sound and or ear speaker while speaking works

Not clear enough, too animated

Very good kit. Unfortunately one of the stretchy battery adhesive strips broke shortly after starting to pull it. After a bunch of messing around, I found the easiest way to proceed was to recover the broken end from under the battery by skewering it with the pointy end of the black plastic pry tool, pulling it out and then grasping it with a fingernail or the tweezers. Just be careful not to puncture the battery case or bad things will happen. Ended up taking me about 1 1/4hrs, but could have been 30 mins if the strip didn't break.

I got my iPhone 6s battery replaced successfully using this video. Thank you :) One thing you should emphasize is that when removing the adhesive tabs at 8:13, the tabs will try to bend back and stick to the underside adhesive of the battery unless the tabs are held firm. One of my tabs flipped back into the white adhesive and was a mess afterwards. Make sure to hold the tabs when removing the adhesive - do it one by one, firmly.
