Hello! Acworth is a pretty quiet and small town, the parts that are worth seeing is the Downtown Acworth scene that is growing with good restaurants and Logan Farm Park for a stroll after you eat. The lake access at lake allatoona is also great!

Right on! Marietta, GA has a pretty comprehensive pradade they hold each year in the downtown Marietta Square. Stone Mountain also does a steller light show that is super cool at night. You can choose from those based on where you'll be at! As far as the spots local artists can sell, the only one I am familiar with is every saturday the Marietta Square Famers Market holds a section for artist, clothing brands and other small business to rent tent space. You can give that a look!

Growth and the sprawl around large cities is a given! It's just a matter of time!

It has exploded in population thats for sure and agree. I am curious how the new parking deck in downtown Woodstock will help with parking and flow of traffic.

Pretty much the whole infrastructure needs it but now the tax dollars will begin to help alleviate that

People say the same about inside the perimeter of Atlanta! It's all about preference thats for sure

@@GregGoadBestLifeAtlanta - the traffic gets immediately better on every interstate once you cross inside the perimeter. Of course, the traffic on the interstate in the city is not city traffic, that's the suburbanites and travelers who don't know any other way to get around. Of course, when you live here, you don't have to deal with traffic at all because you are not forced to drive everywhere like the people who choose to live out in the burbs and make themselves slaves to the global oil market.

The urban sprawl is definitely a factor out here, it can be a 15min drive to most places. There are some up and coming more walkable areas being developed in some of the metro areas that can get you a bit more of that walkable feel.
