Thank you for the reply, I used 1/2" plywood. It is hard to find really good stuff it seems after covid. I was lucky, I had my mechanic take out the center rails for me. It took about 30 mins.

They have liquidation sales sometimes on ebay. I found it on sale pre-used. Also check out your local facebook marketplace.

Hey dude! Thanks for the kind words. I cut off about 2 inches from the saris swing away hitch and it is 2-1/4" on my rear cargo carrier sleeve to the center of the hole. I am pretty sure the hole is 5/8ths. if you have any more issues let me know and I will post a video.

@@TheSoupier thank you. How deep is the receiver shaft on the swing arm? I will chop mine off but won't want it to be too long where it bottoms out, but want it as long as possible for support. You're great for helping with this! Tim

No definitely not, but you had to use a socket with a u-joint or whatever they call it adapter? Which made it a lot easier.

@@TheSoupier I bought my 2015 Sienna last week of Dec 2023. I will not be building mine out til end of this year as I've other projects needing my attention. But I have started researching and have watched nearly every minivan camper build on CZcams -- will marinate then simmer all of the various build ideas to come up with my own recipe later this year. What I have learned so far is that folks who live in or use for extended periods of time prefer fixed bed mode sleeping system over having to set up between couch and bed mode systems every day/night. I think you stated you intend to just lay folding mattress on floor -- note that the floor of a Sienna is neither flat or level. Level is not as important since it's always relative to ground the van is parked over whereas flat surface may be more important depending on your age and other possible health conditions. I've not heard of anyone who has successfully sold their Sienna seats (why I asked as I too will be needing to get rid of mine). Most who have replied to my question say they ended up throwing them away or storing them for possible later van resale as even giving them away was unsuccessful. I will likely try and sell mine on craigslist for best offer since I have quite a bit of time before I begin my build. Best wishes with your build!
