Pounce is broken against some builds. Bars for instance. It’s annoying. A solo raptor should not be able to kill a full grown apex. Now if I stay near water, sure it’s better. Then the mix packers just force you into water and a suko or spino or whatever else that you could normally fight easy. Not to mention that a well built Lat will have taken half your health and stacked bleed out your bung hole before it even requires a drop off. I have put slick scales on everything that can so I can fight these broken little turds. It makes me weaker against everything else, but better that than die to a nothing. It’s like they don’t test this crap. A pack of them should be able to kill an apex. Fair. A pack of them killed my full adult EO in what felt like 20 seconds. Maybe that is abit off. Just saying. I don’t fear anything in this game, except those stupid birds. Not just because they are broken, but because they are fast enough to hold you up as well. Can’t run, because you will bleed to death, so you just get stuck waiting for the inevitable mix pack hoard to come kill you. Even if you have an answer, they win. Lat was my first adult Dino. It’s super easy to level. Small, so less required, fast so you can run away from 99% of bad situations. You can cross the entire map in like 5 min or so. Who needs WS? They take little or no fall damage. Now they are basically apex. I refuse to play it. I want a challenge, not a gimme win. Are there targets you can’t easy button? Sure. A small that can bite you or has the right skin can stop an insta kill. That leaves everything else. I am sure some people with god like skills will disagree. Grats. It does not change the facts. This Dino is broke as f.
