police ticketing drivers daily at Brimley & Ellesmere Rd in Toronto for illegal left turns
June 7 2024. this happens all day every day. if you make what was once a normal behavior illegal, and people continue with that behavior, then maybe the law should be changed. drivers have been able to turn left (northbound) from Ellesmere Rd onto Brimley Rd for decades. now it's illegal. so drivers continue to turn left because there is no alternative to get home. the city's solution is to write tickets 8hrs per day and rake in thousands of dollars from unsuspecting drivers. this is called corruption.

You say this like there is something wrong with that.......follow the signs you won't get a ticket.
I wonder how you would feel if you had been making left turns at a major intersection for decades, then the city just declares it illegal out of nowhere and puts a cop there to write tickets all day long. I can think of many other solutions that would work for the people who drive here than just writing tickets all day.
If its posted on a sign its fully legal. Theres often a sign adjacent to it sayng "new". If you didnt see/notice the sign, you shouldnt be driving. The fact it has been going on for months proves these bad drivers willingly break traffic laws. Its interesting how you didnt show the signage. Its not a police scam for money, its a deterrent to stop the bad drivers who dont obey traffic laws. Good job by the cops tagging bad drivers. Do it more often because theres too many bad drivers on our roads.
Yes, it is posted on a sign. I put that in the video description. But this is clearly a money-making scam. You cannot take a major intersection that people have been using for decades and abruptly change the rules to prevent them from turning left and give no alternative. How is everyone supposed to get home if they cannot turn left at the light and the next intersection is a kilometer away? I can think of many solutions to this problem that don't involve a cop writing tickets all day long.

My photos won't show up on comic life
Did you select the correct folder in comic life? On the right side of the screen you have to select the folder that contains your photos.
@MrRich777 yes on my computer I dragged all my pics to the folder titled pictures. I checked backe on comic life multiple times and they're not there. My camera isn't even working on there either. I'm using a Microsoft surface go.
@jimiprince94 well honestly I'm really not sure. I use a windows PC and had no issues. I've never used a surface go. I don't know what else I can tell you.

Have you tried landing on the balls of your feet (forefoot striking) when walking instead of your heels? This is how people usually walk without cushioned shoes. As you've experienced, heels against pavement isn't the most comfortable
Yes I've definitely tried that with the barefoot shoes. I've also been actually walking barefoot alot and heel striking is not possible when doing that.
This are your first "barefoot" shoes, no? your heel striking =S This wil damage your feet and legs. Please get really informed as how to properly walk on these types of shoes. There's a large adjustment time. From that I can also guess you mostly or only wear normal shoes before this. So yeah, your toes are still squished together and not yet splayed out. Maybe that's why they seem really big. Or they just are. It's a deep rabbit hole! But be wel informed before you switch!

Hi from Germany Great project and great outcome, really inspiring 💥. Did you use any upscale tool or how did you upscale dpi for your images? What is your experience with character consistency in terms of looks of your main character?
Hi, thanks for your comment! I did not do any upscaling of any of the images. Nor did I use any tools other than comic life to make the comic. All of the images are taken raw from midjourney with no alterations. Character consistency is very difficult. But it wasn't necessary for my story in particular because my character has an involuntary shape-shifting condition. So he looks slightly different from page to page.
I'm not in a position to purchase it, alas, but I just wanted to say that it's inspiring to see authors experimenting with new ways of creative expression. Whether we like it or not, AI is here to stay. The more people embrace it and learn how to use it in productive and inspiring ways, the better it is for all of us.
Absolutely, I agree with you. This whole thing was an experiment which turned out great for me. AI is definitely here to stay. A few years ago I would not have been able to express myself creatively in this format. Thanks for your comment.

on amazon it is written to add 0.5 cm to our length of feet. should I order true to size or go size up?
I would recommend ordering maybe a half size smaller. I ordered true to size and they are way too big.
