Many companies made quality tools 80 some years ago. Everything now is Asian crap meant to break so you gotta buy a new one in a year or two. My best tools are always the oldest ones

this was the most needless festool tool I've bought and I love it.

Missed opportunity for the case to look like a mini Systainer.

I have the Milwaukee version of this. Got in I sale for 159 bucks with. Batts and charger. Literally the same tool. But not a 1000 bucks

Sounds like it started to get bogged down after backing it in and out three or four times

Recently bought this TXS 18, overall nice machine, but some points: it is very loud/ noisy, compared to the t18 +3, it has Bluetooth functionality, but only with a Bluetooth accu, it comes (when ordered) with 3ah accu's which don't have Bluetooth while the 4ah accu's have. So why?

I have the older model that just spins, I find it leaves small swirl scratches no matter how fine the grit. I'm sure paint would cover but I lightly pole sand after just to make sure. My freinds random orbital Merca is flawless...im hoping this new Festool works the same.

Honestly, after seeing how much complexity there is here, I’m impressed the saw doesn’t cost more.

I literally just bought this set up. I’m looking forward to using it Monday.

Load of rubbish. 1) that saw has kick back stop. 2) Those lines only apply when the blade is at full depth. The only way to do this accurately is by watching the blade in 99% of situations. No offence though. You’re a great craftsman, and make good videos usually.

Hi thanks for this video ! I just bought the 50 pack of the Granat sandpaper for my rts 400. I could have bought the Granat mesh instead. Im a bit confused: I definately want as dust free a sanding as I possibly can get and this Granat net comes in 9 X 11 inch sheets so I can easily cut 1 sheet into 4 count 1 quarter sheet sizes and it works out much cheaper. If so, what is the advantage of buying the regular granat that already comes pre cut? Is it harder to cut 4 quarters from 1 sheet that perfectly find the sander ..?

I normal just Brad nail in a thin strip of wood to hold plasterboard or wood in place. Does similar job and leaves tiny holes that require next to no filling! But I’m only s humble diyer.
