As watch enthusiasts, we are always on the hunt for the next timepiece. Creating this channel is my way of helping fellow enthusiasts by providing information on watches that I have personally handled. I also try to give my opinion on these watches, so there will be a lot of subjectivity in my posts. All of these watches are watches that I currently own or have owned in the past.
I am doing this purely as a hobby (and as a result of lock-down boredom, thanks to this pandemic) and I am not getting paid for any of these reviews.
I hope you find my reviews, although amateurish, helpful in your decision on which timepiece to acquire next. I welcome constructive comments and messages. Don't forget to like and subscribe if you like the content. You can also follow me on IG: sweeping.seconds.ph for more pictures of awesome watches.
Enjoy!

🤤🤤...
I have ordered this watch, but a 40mm case, plus leather strap.. Blue dial.
NEVER order a Rolex watch, or any other clone watch, from any merchant who is in Vietnam. The reason is the horrible, atrocious, ridiculous and super slow Customs in the this poor country. It is different if you are personally in Vietnam, but NEVER order a watch that will be shipped to you. My cousin does business in Vietnam, he goes there a lot, and he connected me with a good, reliable and trustworthy dealer who I was comfortable enough to order the new Rolex GMT watch. Sadly and unfortunately after this dealer shipped me the watch it got stuck for many long weeks at the horrible and super slow Vietnamese Customs. After I lost my patience waiting I cancelled this ridiculous order and got my money back. I and this dealer lost a good deal because of this country's unbelievably slow and terrible Customs. FYI...I had ordered the new Rolex Super Clone GMT model Bruce Wayne, the newest GMT with the new grey/black bezel. I had paid US$800 (total including shipping) for guaranteed to be a top notch quality and an excellent Super Clone Rolex GMT watch. Now I will never know. So.....stay away from ordering from disgusting Vietnam. I do not know if what I had paid was fair or too little or too much as I have seen quite price variances on clone Rolex watches. Lowest clones start around US$200 and go up for the Super Clones for around US$1500-$2000. Your input is welcome here.
If this has no cyclop then it would be a budget version of a Vacheron 2000V
Got my eye on this watch aswell just finding hard to choose between blue or white dial Whats your thoughts on this Thanks
Thatxblue strap is the ugliest strap I have ever seen. The watch is beautiful.
Do they make low rattling noise when shaken? Rolex forum say it is normal cause by ball bearing rotors on movement 3235.
I just purchased a Datejust-41 2023 blue index fluted white gold bezel oyster steel. I love the Sleek sporty everyday daily driver feel & look. Its absolutely my favorite. I've had Submariner blue index two-tone bracelet and just recently Yacht-Master 2 rose gold and oysterflex bracelet. I've sold both for almost even deciding to dive into the datejust 41 acquisition. This one is a keeper!!
It's good to see the legendary MM300 in its natural habitat.
Love my LHD my daily wear , i do also love my DJ41 with fluted bezel too but that gets far less wear.
This watch looks exceptional on you and well done for choosing the grey dial version! I've been looking to purchase the same specification given the (grey market) price is very attractive for the amount of watch you are getting. May I ask you whether you think the watches' thickness is an issue? I do worry that it won't comfortably slide underneath a long sleeve shirt or if it will make your sweater look "bulgy" when underneath? Best wishes!
Don't understand why Pelagos has reputation of being too large. Black Bay = 41x50x14.8x22. Pelagos 42x50x14.2x22. Does Pelagos wear bigger than Black Bay?
People Watch or read reviews , a surprising amounts of reviewers on CZcams have kids size wrists .I wear my pelagos LHD almost every day including with long sleeve shirts and ties . The lug to lug followed by thickness are the two most important measurements imo not the diameter at all
@@PabloTBrave I have a 6.5 inch (16.5cm) wrist. 50mm lug to lug is probably about the largest I can wear provided the bracelet has inverted female end links. I would be purchasing online so not able to test it out first. I'd also be wearing the LHD on my left wrist (not right).
What is your wrist size? I almost purchased LHD online but worried it's too large for my 6.5 inch (16.5 cm) wrist.
In another video you stated your wrist size as 7.25 inch. My wrist is only 6.5 so the LHD will wear a bit too large for me. I need to hit the gym harder!
$1k per line of text.
@3:00 I worried you would walk off the cliff while admiring your watch!
I almost did! 😅
@@sweepingseconds8897 beautiful watch. I want one but worried my 6.5 inch wrist is too small.
I enjoyed this review. Nicely done as a watch collector for decades, I believe that the Pelagos LHD is the finest dive/tool/value watch on the market.
Thank you, one of the best in value indeed!

Horrible
Awesome watch and great family story as well. 👍
This is such a great watch, sporty and elegant!! And sooooooooo underrated!!!!
Wonderful ❤
Great videos!! The only omega I like, especially white dial. Currently own 216570 Polar and 116613LN Sub. Owned a 126335 Datejust Jubilee and got rid of it for a trade with the Sub. No regrets at all, both super blingy but I love yellow gold. I agree with your points on DJ. Currently 35, my grail is 116503 Daytona which I’ll get in a few years lol! I’m happy with my current collection, even if I never add another watch again. Thanks for your input it’s awesome and your videos are really chill! Cheers 🍻
Thanks man! Enjoy the hunt!
Definitely under appreciated watch and series. I have a Constellation Manhattan style which is also underrated.
Where would you rank this in your collection?
I’ve owned this watch for years. It’s gets a lot of play in my rotation.
Came across this from your globemaster video. I have to say, we share the same taste! I’ve been looking at this watch and the globemaster for a while already.
After a year of using it, what is your current opinion on this watch? Has it required servicing?
My thoughts remain largely the same although i wonder at times if dress watches rreally should be more bland without the quirkiness. Hasn't been serviced yet and still keeps running great.
Out of curiosity, what made you get this color over the others?
Only one available at the time of purchase 😁
Nice review :we call it a Klassiker! Greetings from Germany
Cheers!
You referred to it having “full patina”. More like fake patina.
Pretty sure he said faux patina
Faux patina
Fantastic! Watches like this should be worn.
Absolutely!
"most unpopular" come on, dude... its "least popular"
Really liking the grey dial of this classic watch. A stunning watch, that goes under the radar.
Couldn't agree more althougb the blue and green dials also look stunning
I have the same watch .it’s my second watch . I love the simplicity of it. ROLEX did it again 😊
not a fan of the steel bracelet on these. A quality leather strap makes it look more sophisticated and dignified.
Good video
I knew it before I bought it. I don’t care. I have loved it in first time. Classy and Elegant are my right dress watch!
nah
Great video
Thank you for the fantastic review. I love this particular configuration of the DJ41 (slate dial, smooth bezel, and Oyster bracelet) with a passion. I had one once (with the 31xx movement) and let it go. I hope to replace it this year. Liked & subscribed.
I bought my blue dial with bracelet Globemaster 12 months ago. When you are a young boy you may have had toy trucks, or girls have Barbie dolls. Now as grown ups, we have Omega. They are truly excellent and magnificent !
Well-said!
I don't quite understand the complaints about the thickness , and yes you feel the rotor but then again, I have a Hamilton X winds which has the same movement or a version thereof so, neither bother me. I am very happy about this watch 🙂
Hey man! Where do you get your straps for this? The brown on this looks great
Thanks, man! That's just a brown Hirsch with white stitching and a deployant buckle I came across at the mall.
Hey bro, congratulations on your acquisition of this modern yet timeless masterpiece. The Wrist Shots and the sceneries were breathtaking and complimented the MM300 very well. Best Regards, Malik USA 🇺🇸 ❤
I just purchased this, and I love it. btw, Don't put it onto the computer!
48h power reserve is sad, i bought the GOLD green one
Bracelet is a problem because of uneven gaps and how it tapers from the lugs. A screw down crown would also be nice.
Stunning looking watch.
Yes, it is quite a looker. Thank you! 🙏
Love my LHD👍🏻
Me too! 👍
Great video sir. I can appreciate the shots out in the “wild”- most other reviewers do the olé tabletop review (which are still insightful), but I enjoyed seeing the Pelly being worn in (dare I say) a fun outdoor environment. Nice job!
Yup! Real world usage. Need to invest in a proper cam so I can do more "in the wild" shots like underwater... thanks for the comment! 👍
