The double sized issue of sspectacular spider man 75 is the thick books i like i claim it 😊😮, the x men classic double sized 97 yes! I need it 😂, the king Size annual 2 of spectacular spidey i likes the annuals. The x factor annuals are cool 😎 im loving all the double sized and annuals this episode. Woah the x factor 92 is cool for sure. The beetle bailey looks like a fun read, the mutt and jeff comic look awesome glad you kept it Rob. Giant size doc savage looks great, dennis the menace is always great to get, ARCHIE yes 😂. This video had a great mix up for sure buddy

Thanks for the review Rob! I have this comic coming directly from Archie but I haven't gotten it yet, I assume because the order includes a couple items that haven't been released. I try to order something directly from Archie every couple months, plus I maintain a subscription, basically just to show my appreciation for the fact they are still out there putting out books. There have been a couple other recent one shots (not sure if it's the same "universe") out there as well, Darkling and Jaguar. There is a David Mack cover for Darkling that is pretty good. Some of the current non-humor/Archie Universe Archie Comics stuff can be pretty lame but some of it is rather good. The art is definitely improving over the past couple years.

Them gaters got their special treat after all 😁 I wonder if serials back then introduced many of the action sequences we are so used to in later films. Like the car chase, then jump from vehicle to vehicle - was that being done in feature films and serials copied, or the other way around. Great episode - curious to see how Bats gets out of this one 🫡

I missed you guys live but caught the rewind. Fun show! Really enjoyed it.

Too bad about the mildewed damaged comics. This stinks (in more ways than one). Especially for the Action Comics Annual #1 with cool art by Art Adams (both cover and interior). Still, not a bad deal. More than enough good stuff to justify the cheap price. Starting with that six issues limited series of Swamp Thing by Len Wein and Kelley Jones which was a throwback to Wein's own original run with co-creator Berni Wrightson. It would be a shame to split this excellent limited series and you should really try to sell this as a set (unless you decide to keep it for yourself which you should totally do if you don't have this already). This was legendary creator Len Wein's last project before he passed away, and it's a fitting testament to his brilliant career. A very fun and recommended read.
