It’s not true what they said that your primary citizenship would be switched from American to Irish. That’s not how dual citizenship works. The US considers you an American citizen. Period. While allowing its citizens to hold other countries citizenships, the us does not recognize them as citizens of those countries. The US would treat you as solely an American citizen. And you would be under no obbligati m leave the country after 3 months. Even if you did have your Irish passport stamped by a us immigration officer who didn’t know what they were doing.

UPDATE! So far I have tried two of the wines, the Terraform red blend and the Still Blend Cabernet Sauvignon and they were both fantastic, if I was a big wine drinker I would definitely continue the subscription but there's no way I'd drink 6 bottles a month. However if that's your jam or your like me and see a lot of wine gifting in your future I definitely recommend!

What you went through is absolutely absurd. Side note, as an Irish citizen you do not need a Visa to enter the United States. So not sure who told you, you need a US visa 😂😂😂🤣🤣

I am on month 2 getting nothing but contradictory copy/paste replies from customer service. they say you better curate a list so they can pick one if their stock is hurting. they also say if you are a VIP they save your choices but.... thats a contradiction?? they told me they want to make it right that they sent me a crop of a style I didn't pick in any color, they say that "no guarantee" stuff but then tell me their pick "should have been" my #1 choice. it's too bad, I want to support a woman owned business but I do not want to operate my own shipping outfit just to get the outfit I expect for $35 a month now. I will see what happens next month if they actually have a conciliatory resolution that doesn't waste shipping resources!! the pants fit and my family told me to just keep them to save the trouble, seems like you did the same, at least you will never run out??

You don’t need a parent with Irish citizenship to become a citizen yourself. I had one grandparent born there and that was all I needed.

But you don't need a visa. Just apply for an ESTA using your Irish passport, it's like $14 or something. You'll have to disclose you're an American too, but I heard from other people you can still be granted ESTA even so. And when you get to the border, show the US immigration officer your expired US passport. You might be held there for a few hours and they'll probably treat you as if you're an idiot who somehow didn't renew their US passport before the trip, but they cannot not let an American citizen in. Best thing about this is you can still apply for an ESTA while being in the US and if approved, you're pretty much good to go as long as you have an active Irish passport and an expired US passport in your hands.

I would never dream of traveling on expired travel documents. Never!!! International travel alone is enough hassle without having problems with your documents.
