Rainy days bring back very strong memories for me, both good and bad. But the most unforgettable memories are two incidents. Both the incidents happened on rainy days, both were Saturdays, one was in 1999 and the other during 2007. The first one was during my Std 10 days 25 years ago ( Aug 14, 1999). My teacher caned my left bum with her hard and fat cane for laughing at my batchmates while she was caning their hands. And wot was worse was that those whom she caned on the hands were given less hard strokes and the treatment she gave me was the hardest. My bum was hot and red and swollen for four days. And the very next day was Independence day. We all came to school for the event. And it was a rainy day. The chill of the rains and the hard school floor made my bum sting ten times more. Coming to the second incident, it took place in October 2007. I learnt the power of girls the hard way. My MBA batchmate taught me a painful lesson for teasing her. I used to tease girls a lot and act cool during my college days. I always used to pull her hair. Once i pulled her hair hard as i always used to. She never used to get angry but that day got wild at me. Unfortunately for me that day she was having a long fat umbrella with a long n sharp tip at the end. She started chasing me wildly. I tried to escape but i slipped a bit and had to stop running to regain my balance. She caught me and gave me one hard whack on my bum with her umbrella. The sharp edge of the umbrella pierced my bum royally. I couldnt sit for two days. I kept rubbing my bum till i reached home. After that day i don't think i teased girls and women and NEVER under estimated women.
