I seen one to today and it was coiled up I noticed it was breathing but it’s whole body was puffing up and down like a bike pump kinda that was cool

That snake moves and looks like a Gaboon Viper - large head, heavy body, catapillar motion - famly must be in Africa.

Pretty chill snake, I would be way pissed if I kept trying to exit, stage left, and some putz with a hook kept yanking me back!

I'm just a little non venomous inch worm, nothing to see here.

It is insane how well a gaboon can camoflauge with a simple cluster of dry leaves.

The bite concerns me after you mentioned bee stings. Idk if I'm allergic but bee allergies run in my family and I have hypertension to boot. Maybe a spider isn't for me, which sucks. But I can respect them from a distance I guess.

Som šťastná, ze tieto hady nežijú v mojej krajine. Jediny jedovaty had zijuci u nas je vretenica severská a ten chvala bohu do !esta nechodí 😅 da sa stretnut iba v lese a tam si davame pozor. Kvalitne tutisticke topanky, palicky a chodime iba po znacenych chodnikoch , vyhybame sa miestam jde by mohli byt. Slnečné stráne, skaly a pod. U nas je problem s medvedmi, premnozene a tie sa pre hadzaju aj okolo ludskych obydli a aj v mestach😅

Finally someone makes a video about them lol. I have a pair of them a pair of the emerald tree skinks and a female Olive tree skink. I have fallen in love with tree skinks. I have seen one that was blue but couldn't find any info on them. Love the video. Would you ever do an enclosure show off? Makes you wonder how evolution led that species to have such peculiar pattern when most snakes have really poor eye sight. Nature sure is mysterious 🤔

when ever I try to catch a reptile and they get away I can’t find them at all, where do they go?? I never find a burrow or hole anywhere it’s like they vanish

I love to watch the rectilinear movement of the magnificent Gaboon Viper. All those muscles attached to each rib visibly working to move this snake along. The Gaboon Viper is the reason I keep Blood Pythons and Sumatran Pythons which are of the same body type, ambush predators. To me, the Gaboon Viper is one of the most beautiful snakes in the world. This one is a West African Gaboon Viper?
