Thank goodness for cute dads lol. I haven't seen many videos on this line, prob because they are such a pain. I have dark star. I have had some great results with it, so I picked up supernova too. I haven't even bothered trying it with a liner. Amaco put out a specific kiln schedule for using them with liners, but I use a community kiln so... I may just throw caution to the wind and go for it after seeing those bowls!

I need to see a lot more demos before I shell out the $$$ for this line of glazes. Most, if not all, say not to use a liner with it and not recommended for food contact. Most of my work is functional, so this limits its use for me. ...and yes, I am one of those people. ;-)

Your videos are excellent. For those of us who don't have callibers, also use rulers directions and measurements for the entire process. For example, what was the inside measurement of the jar. Thanks

You could try the black glaze under the green. The bit of green coming through the black glaze hints that the inverse may look nice

I have never made a glaze, but can't find anything like this for cone 10 oxidation... and I'm in australia. I'll trawl the channel now lol. I get how glazes work from research, but not many address the red without cone 6. Or how to adjust a bought glaze because that sounds easier. Oh my word, adhd here we come

Looks like fun. Realy cool place. Here in michigan we have an event called the crack pot pottery tour. Around 10 diffrent studios in the middle of the state. Some studios ate just pottery. Some are mixed materials. Cool event. Your tall swirly pot was pretty cool.

Inlaying glazes is butting one color right up to another color, that has dried completely, not by having divots to put the glaze in. No need for clear glaze. Harder to do, but well worth the hassle.

Why isn't the bottom rim of the cup glazed? I do use wax resist on my designs.

I'm guilty of using to much water, but when I don't have water it gets dry so fast and doesn't look nice and silky like your clay, do I just use less water more often? it feels like I need to wet my clay every few seconds :( *I'm very new only started about two weeks ago*

Hary Potter is for kids who have no control of their lives. Harry has control of life with magic. Teenagers are in that middle place. Parents are trying to control their kids for their own good and kids need to grow up and learn to be in control of their lives. Good to let kids figure out and make choices themselves but give them some alurnatives for answers to life situations. It's part of growing up

That place is amazing! I love a pottery studio vibe, but that place is like creativity overload. Looked like a lot of fun, but that many people would absolutely exhaust me! My goal for pottery is to one day have enough good pieces to do some sort of fair/booth/whatever so I guess I have to work on liking people...
