Travelling from the UK down through France, around the Mediterranean and Aegean seas and continuing on to the Canary Islands off the north-west coast of Africa, here on my channel you will find a selection of short videos showcasing some of the popular holiday destinations along the way.
With the promise of summer heat or warm winter sun, each of the videos is intended to provide an overview conjuring up the feel and atmosphere of a place.

Bodrum Castle and Shopping Centre
The Turkish Riviera is a popular tourist destination in the Eastern Mediterranean, famous for its sun kissed beaches, stunning scenery and international cuisine. It is also a place steeped in history. When is was destroyed by a series of earthquakes between the 12th and 15th centuries, The Mausoleum of Halicarnassus, a towering 45 meters high, was the last of the six destroyed wonders of the ancient world, the only one remaining today being the Great Pyramid of Giza.

English Riviera

The English Riviera - a name given to it in Victorian times when visitors compared it's warm climate to that of the south of France - in the Torbay area of South Devon, is a 22 mile stretch of coastline spanning the seaside resorts of Torquay, Paignton and Brixham. With a coastline of rocky coves, picturesque villages and warm weather, Devon it is one of the top places to holiday in the UK.

The Camargue is a natural region located south of Arles, France, between the Mediterranean Sea and the two arms of the Rhône delta and is famous for for its pink flamingos, black bulls, white horses ridden by cowboys known as 'The Guardians' and more than 400 unique species of migrating birds. It also has large salt flats and rice and salt have been harvested there since the Middle Ages.

It is, really buzzing, and they have a tradition that at midnight they give grapes to one another. Some random might just come up to you and hand you some. Really friendly.

Is this walking distance from the cruise port??
I understand cruise ships are anchored outside the harbour and you are are tendered to shore landing right outside the entrance to the old town. It is only a short walk along the harbour anyway. Hope that helps.
