Battle Wizard is the BEST CLASS For Carrying Quickplay
im sold!
getting this game cause i have to wait until the end of september to get spacemarine 2 and i wanna play a warhammer game!
My weapon special is bound to M4. It’s quick and easy and can be done with one hand. I have my ult bound to Q for quick access and I just use 1 and 2 for weapon swapping.
Better than Darktide
No mention of Bretonnian sword and shield? Why? It has the best stagger combos of all shield weapons in the game. Personally, it feels pointless to use mace and shield with the Grail Knight, when Bret S&S is available.
Warm gun I love your content so much and you are one of the reasons I have stuck with the dwarf after nearly fully switching to keeillian and handmaiden😊
Hi sorry to ask such a noob question but I'm a bit confused about the Flail/Shield light combo you mentioned at 5:10. I'm not sure if it's because of a patch or update, but not matter what I do I can't do the Push/Block>Light combo as it always does the overhead strike no matter how light I tap the attack button after the block/push button. Am I missing something
@Insanity_101 When you're blocking, hold left click (the attack button)
@@warmgunproduction4545 wait as in actually hold it? I thought would just make me do the Heavy Attack for the Flail/Shield?
@@warmgunproduction4545 Update: I gave it a try and now I got to work. No wonder I wasn't able to before, the timing is a bit awkward so I'll need to practice. Thanks for replying.
I just bought the SotT some days ago from sale and been having fun with it. Came around to check how others play her and saw you just uploaded one lol Edit: Every time I play I used to wonder why you put her in B back then
People with hight ping how are you suppose to dodge if you get hit before the enemy havent even finish the attck animation
So it's like playing the Berserker class in killing floor 2
Honestly I’m afraid to get into this game if space marine 2 is gonna release and kill it but it is super cheap
Good video, thank you. As Bounty Hunter main, I agree with his placement. It's truly one of the career that can shine or fail extremely due player's abilities and skill ( like many others, obliviously). But why I personally love BH is just gun-oriented gameplay, I just cant help myself
she is absolutely busted and has been since release
anyone play on xbox? just got vt2 after trying darktide, the theme of vt2 is better imo so i want to play it but can’t find any lobbies
Ive liked this game for a bit Im no pro or really even good I just like swinging weapons at monsters but I can you playing alone is alright but its better with friends, I dont got anyone who plays vermintide much but I still have my fun in quick play
I love the cog hammer + troll torp build. 10/10 would recommend!
For this build what should I run for the trinket and necklaces ( the last three items equipped after the weapons)
That is very helpful for a new player like me who is mainly playing Sister :)
youre still wrong, if you play her youre detrimental to the team
Lol what a troll. You must have had some real doozies to get that pov.
How so?

I got the game back in 2022 when it was free right before the launch of Darktide, I then bought all the dlc for the game, and I love V2. Hands down one of my favorite "horde shooters". Even if I barely shoot anything.
You came out with this video at the perfect. Just started playing and just got this class!
I never have a problem killing elites with the dual swords on Cata. On HM I had to give up on in because even free push attacks aren't enough, but with poison and bleed, elites melt anyway. the heavy attack damages twice, so the first hit deals poison and the second causes bleed. also the idea isn't to stack poison, but to use the third and fourth light attack to spread poison accross a horde incredibly quickly. the great thing is that this works perfectly well against mixed hordes. also I'd definitely recommend using heavy-light for horde clear on SD, pretty sure it's got better dps just mathematically, it also hits headshots easier because all attacks come from above, and it's generally easier and safer than blockcanceling
In the armory you see 2 heavy attacks for the two-handed sword. And there indeed are 2 heavy attacks. After doing heavy attack 1, next click (even if feels like a light attack) launches heavy attack 2. You don't have to push the button longer like for heavy 1. Same as glaive. (Also don't use glaive. Bulky and slow, also not very mobile.)
Allow me to summarize this video in one single sentence: Sister of the Thorn is a mayfly babysitter, making sure the little ones don't die a horrible death while keeping herself alive. You're welcome! -A mayfly babysitter
and yet they still run ahead, die, and leave
yo dude! just gonna leave this here, if versus actually comes out will you re-do your builds for the game mode?
I will likely make videos grouping together the different talent builds for versus!
imagine thinking SoTT was anything but overpowered lol
I just came back today because of your Sister of the Thorn video. Maybe I just got very unlucky, but I ran in to the worst of the worst. 2 Dutch kids constantly insulted me on Chaos Wastes, then when we almost finished they vote kicked me. Then the game after I had 2 people instantly leave after they messed up once. Horrible experience tbh, will try again in a couple weeks. Will still watch your videos tho.
As a vermintide vet, I hate most of the people I encounter on quick play from years of similar experiences. The trick is to get really good in singleplayer so when you find someone that pisses you off you can cuck them out of playing the game.
Repel is awesome, especially with dual daggers. Because DD uses half normal stamina on pushes, you can get that double range/stagger push extremely often as long as you time it right and dont block. It makes controling hordes extremely easy and makes up for the poor horde clear of DD. You might struggle to kill but you keep everything CCed I really hate seeing Ironbark in a game. If you aren't coordinating it beforehand, DONT take that talent. It will mostly only c***block your teammates. Tanglegrasp Thicket on the other hand is an extremely effective tool at creating space. Effectively it's a "get away from me" button. Blackvenom can easily backfire by sending hordlings flying behind you or your teammates, though it is absolutely useful at rescuing teammates by stagger hooks/leeches/assassins
Yeah it turns out even without old radiant inheritance this character is kinda nice, especially love to see her load in during quick play instead of a waystalker or shade
This wall of text probably won't bump him up a tier, but Slayer is possibly the strongest career in close to mid-range, once you learn to Dawi-Drop. Before considering that, don't forget that Bardin's melee options have some of the highest base stagger values of any character in the game (besides select weapons for Kruber & Sienna). Just 20% Power vs Chaos lets the Great Hammer stunlock any enemy besides Plague Monks or Chaos Warriors, and 10% Power vs Chaos with Opportunist lets Dual Hammer Light Attacks do the same (trading the Great Hammer's cleave for higher attack speed and THP generation in the process). Combined with the amount of attack speed a Slayer gains naturally (7.5% base, 30% Leap), and they essentially become a walking AOE of damage and stagger on a level that few careers can compare to short of Foot Knights or Bombspam Engis. Good Leaps also greatly mitigate the weakness of being a melee-only career against specials, especially Warpfire & Ratlings. Most underestimate the value of Leap's 10-second knockback resistance, as well as just how far you travel in the air (Physics lesson: projectiles generally go furthest when fired at a 45 degree angle). Ratling & Warpfire Throwers are relatively slow to change the direction of their line of fire, meaning that once they start firing, a Slayer can sail right over the volley and bash their head in (akin to how Bardin did it to a Warpfire Thrower in the V2 release trailer, funnily enough). The mobility also helps against Leeches and occasionally Packmasters, allowing you either escape their grab or quickly close the gap on them (less practical with assassin rats, though it is rad as hell when you both jump the same time). Though purely anecdotal evidence, I've abused this feature of Leap so often with Dawi Drop that I have rivaled and occasionally even outperformed players using dedicated ranged careers in the number of Specials I killed. Going back to Dawi Drop, a War Pick with 30% Power vs Chaos/Armored and Smiter can one-shot Chaos Warriors, a headshot, on Cata. This by itself is immensely strong, as it turns Slayer's Leap into a standard Blessed Blade, albeit with some charge time and build dedication. However, since Dawi Drop affects any airborne attack, you can also use it to turn your horde-clearing melee of choice into a lite Virtue of Confidence Blessed Blade, less geared towards Elite killing in exchange for being far more spammable with Adrenaline Rush. I have never understood the sentiment that "Dawi Drop is only good with a bomb against Monsters." You gain the buff every time you leap, for as long as you're airborne, which with like a minute of practice in the keep means you can always wipe the first layer of a horde at liftoff. Dawi-Drop increases POWER, NOT JUST DAMAGE, meaning it ALSO increases CLEAVE AND STAGGER POWER. Consider in conjunction with any of Bardin's Hammers. By timing a Charged Attack (Great) or just spamming lights (Dual, Cog, War Pick), you can stagger nearly everything in the horde without building for ANY stagger breakpoints (keep in mind, however, that Dual, Cog & War Pick sweeps seem to be hard coded to always stop when hitting Maulers and Stormvermin, and all melees for Slayer stop when hitting Chaos Warriors). Through all this, you're still dealing 160% more damage (Oh yeah fun fact the first stack of Trophy Hunter is always active, go test a Cog Hammer with Smiter + ~25-30% Power vs Skaven/Armored on a Legend Difficulty Stormvermin, once with Slayer then once with Ironbreaker), so anything not staggered is likely dead, with a cooldown only rarely higher than 10 seconds in a horde situation thanks to Adrenaline Rush. You can shut down entire hordes with 'well-timed' Leaps (let charged/light attack go in the air close to enemy), practically guarantee a net THP profit, and hit significantly more headshots due to frequently throwing yourself to headshot height, further increasing your DPS. Though of limited utility, keep in mind that you only need to be airborne when the attack connects, letting you throw two Throwing Axes boosted by Dawi Drop, or throwing a Bomb then launching yourself towards the imminent explosion to get an airborne hit off while the Monster/Patrol is staggered. Ideal Dual Hammer horde combo for a Slayer is Light -> Heavy -> Block Cancel, if you can get used to the rhythm. Fairly APM intensive, but the second Heavy has a delayed sensation which is uncomfortable to accept once you get better with the Light-Heavy loop. TL;DR of my inane unorganized rambling: Dawi Drop is Slayer's strongest level 30 talent, and combined with Adrenaline Rush can lock down lobbies (assuming Murphy's Law isn't in full swing).
How do I not burn myself with the staff? I need to be pressing R everytime I get too second bar
Mainstay doesn't help with horde clear
You should've seen her before they nerfed her into the dirt. Her kit was truly busted.
to call her nerfed "into the dirt" is insane even after the nerf she is busted
@@hooktraining3966 Elf is tied with kruber for the weakest overall class in the game now.
@@cHaMp630 weakest overall doesn't mean that sister of the thorn isn't busted. If you compare 5 different sized nuclear bombs, one of them is the weakest but it's still a nuclear bomb. Every single class in the game, in the right hands, is capable of carrying.
Cool!
I literally have like 8 hours in VT2, and all my time is in getting the collectibles on the first stage. I'm so glad you have these amazing guides to help me get better, and make me realize I think I may love this game.
I recommend surge of malice with greatsword plus enhanced power, instead smiter. Much safer to use, has extra cleave, easier thp generation, power makes the pushes stronger. Faster attacks generate way more cooldown which makes it even more safe as You will always have your ult available to stagger or apply your buff. There are no significant 1 shot breakpoints to reach on Legend and Cata so EP will drastically increase Your and your teams dps via spreading more venom. Poisoned enemies take 24% more dmg (2 stack of venom) plus additional crit and power for another ~20% dmg means just by having Sister on the team your party has extra person worth of damage.
Man I love this game and having the final boss of Vermintide 2 return to youtube is the best thing happening rn
I was getting my ass handed to me with all of her careers when I was a noob *except* for Sister so she can't be that bad :P
man i missed your videos, keep up the good work bro.
yesterday i literally go, i wonder if warm gun has posted anything recently, now today i see this
I thought Fat Shark abandoned this game, like they do with all their games
Greetings hater, would you be so kind and just leave?
@@double2helix dont glaze fatshark they do NOT like their playerbase and are extremely greedy
I love using Repel on the soTT it helps a lot with mixed hordes. You can give a lot of space for your team. You have a shieldbash at 1 sec CD. Or even 0,5 sec CD if your push cost is 1 stamina
Saying the dual daggers “can’t do anything against a horde” is misleading. Sure they have no cleave, but they do have very fast attacks and they one shot anything that you do hit. The horde clear time with daggers isn’t any slower than the horde clear time with most other weapons. Sure they’re not the fastest, but they are far from the slowest. The only thing you need to do to take down hordes effectively with the daggers is manage your stamina and keep the border contained to a confined area so you can easily dispatch the front row of enemies. It’s just harder to take down hordes with dual daggers, but they aren’t explicitly worse at doing so.
The problem is it doesn't 1-shot, not immediately anyway. You can 1-shot slaverats with headshots, but on body hits you have to wait for them to bleed or hit them again. With Fanatics, you need a headshot AND bleed to kill them in 1 attack. This is important because the daggers have next to no stagger, so skavenslaves and fanatics can still hit you after you hit them first. THAT is what makes them bad against hordes. In raw killing power they do perfectly fine, nowhere near the best but better than a lot of blunt weapons, but you end up taking a lot more damage with them while doing it. Repel and Tanglegrasp Thicket really help even the field though. With Repel Daggers you can keep the entire horde staggered just by pushing once every few attacks, and Tanglegrasp will help you clear space if you can't kill them fast enough.
@@Sotanaht01 I don't have any issues taking damage with the daggers, I actually take far more damage with the Sword and Dagger due to the slow attack speed and lower dodge stats. It's all about how you use them, if you use the daggers like a normal weapon you're going to get hit because you can't rely on cleave or stagger to keep you safe. Your protection are your shoves and dodges and that's it. Basically just don't get hit and you wont have to worry about irrelevant things like stagger and cleave.
i think if they are harder and thus less efficient at horde killing, then by definition they are worse
@@hooktraining3966 They aren’t less efficient, they’re MORE efficient. Especially in mixed hordes, being able to quickly and effective 1 hit elite enemies with very little risk. Just because something requires more skill, doesn’t make it worse. It’s just a different weapon that requires a different skill set. It has unique properties that make it excel in many areas that the sword and dagger does not.
@@michaeljcaboose1152 it is worse at killing hordes I didn't say it was bad. To claim that they are better at horde killing than most of her other weapons is just silly.
Yes finaly. This guides really missed me
weapon wise, I can always highly recommend the Glaive (I use it with every elf class). Its a bit clunky and awkward, but an absolute beast once you get used to it. its amazing at horde clear being able to slice up the sides of enemies forever as long as you keep dodging, and its heavy can 1 shot anything less than a chaos warrior if you hit the second heavy (keep in mind when you use a heavy attack, it dosent matter if you right click or left click, you immediately throw out the second heavy, which does A LOT of damage to specials). For Hordes I always push then 2 lights, and for specials/elites you throw a heavy attack at them each. Even if theres a full horde infront of you with a couple elites mixed in, just spamming lights still does some decent damage to the elites, so they will die in 2-4 hits.
Finally he see the truth! Toxic gamers are class S!
A part of me misses the old sister of the thorn, but mostly for having it as a bot when playing solo. The bot could snipe a gutter runner mid air with her ult and one shot it, then turn around and blow up a pack in one shot as well. It was amazing, and the main thing that helped me solo every mission on legend. Now the bot still spams the ult just as much, except it's a tickle rather than a nuclear bomb
Pretty sure the damage buff stacks with the recursive toxin talent, unless they've recently changed it?
Ah, yes you are correct. Missed this in my testing
