[World Record] Wii Sports Resort Golf Resort C Speedrun 1:32
This is not a very good record, it can and will be much lower as I have exited hole 8 nearly 5 seconds faster than in this run. This run also marks the third time I have held all 11 of the main categories in resort golf.
I dedicate this run to my dog, Rossi, who passed away just 15 hours before this run.

For a brief period, the former record of 12:22 was the oldest world record in the entirety of Wii Sports Resort. I've had this record for nearly 6 years uninterrupted, which is also a record for the game. I hope to get a sub 12 in the future, which would be a much better run than a sub 10 18 Hole. This Resort 9 is very beatable, as I birdied 5 in this run. Sub 5 is barely possible, I hope to get close to it. Getting behind/hitting trees lost over 15 seconds on the back nine which ruined what was easily sub 10 pace. #wii #golf #speedrun

This was a decent run until I got one of the worst possible wind conditions on 18. This was also the Resort 9 record of 5:09 until I beat that with a 5:08 a few hours later. The hole 16 driver chip was pretty funny, it was the fastest way to finish the hole after being in a very poor spot after the first shot. Sub 10 should be soon, I have gotten many paces like this in the past couple days. #w...

This is a nice run but unfortunately I lost 0.2 seconds on the first A press of hole 3. I can easily get a 1:27 as no part of this run was exceptional, the only hurdle is getting enough runs to 3 to get past the 1/12 rng for the albatross setup. #wii #golf #speedrun

Finally happy with this category, temporarily. This is my 6th classic 9 WR in the past 3 weeks, for a total of over 8 seconds cut. Another not great -13, 15 thorough 18 were all good, but the hole 14 exit in this run is pretty bad. This is the first 4:3x, but I will continue running this category. #wii #golf #speedrun

This is a pretty funny run but not great by any means, I'd only be happy with a really good -13 or a run with the albatross setup on 18. I will try to get somewhere around 4:35 soon, but much lower is possible. #wii #golf #speedrun

This is a tied world record with @MudkipSR. This is a very strange record, I was doing attempts for a 1:19-1:21 with an eagle on 15. But on this decent 14 exit I happened to get a TAS bunker on my 2nd shot by accident, and I golded by nearly a second. I have had a 14 exit 2.5 seconds faster than this one but I got bad wind on 15 that run and haven't had anything within a second of that run sinc...

This is a very good -5, beating the last WR by 2 and a half seconds. This can be improved with a better 17, but my 16 and 18 were excellent. I feel like going for alby 18 might make sense now, but a regular alby will only save about 1 second. Up to 7 seconds can be saved on 18 with the same strat that I used in this run, but that would be insanely random and rare. #wii #golf #speedrun

Give Up is a speedrun category where you get the worst possible score in Wii Sports Golf, 72. This is a pretty good run but 5:3x can definitely happen in the future with a better run. @@SirTylerGolf With the pin and wind direction you had on hole 9 I think there can be alby lineups found with the 3iron (except for 10 m/s, does not make it over the bunker). Backspin would be needed though, which does not help in regard of reliability. But in order to beat this run you definitely need the alby now, so maybe thats the future strat...
@@alnik001 yeah 3 iron definitely has setup potential, but I never looked too far into it because it will be significantly slower than setups using a driver and a 3 wood. Before this grind I found 4 setups that don't require any aiming on the first shot. Unfortunately I had a horrible streak of hitting the flag and missing the alby on paces much faster than this run. This 1:32 itself is a fluke, it's a pace that is pretty much reset worthy after hole 7 and 8, and a random alby without any setup all make up for a really bad -5, it can still be beaten with a -4 if it's really fast. Mudkip's 1:33.000 is a good example, I've been nearly 4 seconds ahead of that run into 9, so there's still plenty of room for a -4 to beat this time, but I would like to get a 1:28, so committing to going for albys is the way.
@@SirTylerGolf I hope you save the setups on the behemoth, they could be really interesting for score runners, it would make a perfect Resort C score humanly possible.

@@ScottayH29 that's not the case, a chip in usually loses around 5 seconds compared to just getting close and making the putt
