dont buy anything off BCUK, they are con artists, been waiting for my wheel for nearly six months, they ignore emails and never answer the phone. ive had to take action against them to get my £530 back... Their reviews on trust pilot is shocking

I had a Carp Porter in the past and despite it being a decent Barrow the finish was un impressive, But this one looks Awesome.

I think the battery storage could have been better thought out. That a sticking point for me ,putting me off this barrow
I have had this barrow since the spring '23 and it is without question absolutely brilliant, solid, reliable and extremely lightweight, the battery lasts for at least a couple of trips to my syndicate which is more than enough for me, the torque is amazing especially over mud and wet ground, luggage is spot on and the little extras like the should bag, cover and the inserts really do finish this barrow off nicely.

It looks a well thought out and superbly manufactured barrow. Only doubt in my mind is how much hassle it might becto fold away and put in the back of my estate car .... a van is not a practicle option for me. A video showing this would be appreciated e.g. out of car, put together and loaded up...... age is catching up to me so will definitely need a power barrow soon.... 😊
Hi David, thanks for taking the time to watch the video! Our range of barrows work the same way most others do, thumb screws hold it all together so it’s super quick and easy to dismantle. If you can fit your current barrow into your car, the ed1-p will be no problem for you either. Three electrical plugs (which are different shapes so you can’t mix them up during assembly) and you are packed down like any other on the market 👍 Team BCUK 🇬🇧

No real details about the main selling point. How far can this go fully loaded on a single charge? Some lakes i fish are a good walk before getting to the bankside. That would make a good video. Gps track yourself and show how far this really goes.
Hello! The 7ah lithium battery option will get you 8-9 miles with a loaded barrow, if you were to go for the long distance option, the 12ah lithium batteries will get you a range of approx 9-12 miles. Hope this helps 👍 if you want to see it in action please check out some of our other videos, or pop on to the CARPology channel, where we took one of our conversation kits (same as fitted here) to the top of one of the highest peaks in the Southdowns. 277 meters of elevation spread over around 3 miles! How waterproof is the hub motor? Would it survive being totally submerged for short periods of time in sea water?
Hi, the hub motors are completely sealed and therefore this shouldn’t be a problem. That said, I’m sure you are fully aware of the corrosive properties of salt water and we would strongly suggest rinsing off with fresh water to ensure longevity 👍 Team BCUK 🇬🇧

Like the barrow,but the tyer looks like it's a 2ply one,I've had blow outs and punchers with 2ply tyres and the way I got around this was to buy 4ply tyre since doing so I've never had any problems just food for thought as I feel all barrows should come with 4ply tyres as standard.

More importantly what’s the barrow like to push when the battery dies are you pushing against the motor also is the throttle unit waterproof and if you get a puncher how easy is it to change? These are all things I’d like to know before I make a purchase
Hi Allen, our power wheels are completely free-wheeling when not powered up. You will notice very little to no difference compared to pushing a standard wheel. The throttle unit is completely waterproof but we also supply waterproof throttle covers with the barrows as an additional layer of protection. The wheel and tyre combo we use is very similar to the way a car wheel and tyre works. There is no inner tube and the tyre is seated on the rim to create a seal. The tyres are extremely hard wearing and a puncture is very unlikely, However if you do suffer a puncture they are very easy to change. Once the air is removed from the tyre you can simply use a tyre lever (or a spoon like the good old days) to pop off the tyre for a simple repair or replacement. I used my BCUK conversion kit at farlows last weekend absolute quality.
I’ve just ordered mine for my mk2 fatboy. Can’t wait to get it fitted. Gonna be so much easier for me.
