Hey man question. I have the same bov but mine flutters when I drive calm. How can I adjust it? I heard fluttering is not good for our cars. Also how can you change from full atmospheric to recirculating? Thanks man!

Take a look at this:goprouser.freeforums.org/the-gopro-hero-hd-bus-interface-moved-see-last-post-t797-50.html Maybe someone is willing to experiment with this and report back? it seems pins 25 - 26 are the charging/power inputs, I assume cutting these off will achieve what we need. I too among many people have an issue with the gimbal powering the gopro, definately a design flaw on DJI's part.

I would simply try to remove the battery and may be the gopro continues to work with the energy delivered from the gimbal...... So you can fly Fpv !

Wouldn't do it myself, it screws up the balance of the gimbal!

I have the same valve on my STI but except I have it tuned for fully resurculative and have the spring adjusted mid way works perfect really good throttle response way better than stock imo

I see you got it wide open, check out the video response I just posted (please approve if you dont mind) I show it open and closed down a bit. really make a difference on the sound.

it doesn’t matter if you have an fmic, it will still run best if some of the air is recirculated...

so if i have a fmic i can run this vta? with no problems?

@synolimit you're without a doubt an idiot. how in gods name are 1/2 second shifts going to ruin you engine (not motor, motors are for rc cars). its better to run rich for a brief moment than to run lean. save me the time and go jump off of a cliff, do you have any idea how A/F ratios work? ask any tuner in the world if a vta bov will seize your engine. some aftermarket tmic have extended endtanks, longer than that of stock ones. so yes, you can run a blow thru on them.

I was there back in April 2011 with some friends. I shure do want to go back again. Love it there.

@synolimit you couldn't be more wrong. one, you don't have to be set up for a blow thru maf to run a vta bov. two, a blow thru system can be used in conjunction with a tmic, not just a fmic. three, even if what you said was correct, it wouldn't not have an explosive effect on the engine. youtube comments still never cease to amaze me.

@littlemimus proud owner of a wrx wagon, with a 4 eat, bought the atuto one cuz i thought it would have a less abused engine annd swap it out for a 6mt, haha i know, big project. but the lady who had it before didnt really keep up with the oil haha, i was thinking the cobb one, im not gonna get one with this td04 cuz its kinda useless. haha

@quads95 I took my Outaw 525 on the Rockhouse and Pinnacle Trails and did just fine. I did encounter quite a bit of mud spray from the tires though and rough ride, but fun none the less.

is there such thing as a bov that doesnt show off your turbo, i want something quiet. any one know, or do you just have to look obnoxious?

@srninjastar You are correct. But thats if your talking stock, or "mostly stock" ie if your running a stock turbo with a few bolt ons, youll wanna just keep your stock BOV. However, if you upgrade to a bigger turbo and plan on running more than 20psi, a V2A BOV isnt a bad idea, HOWEVER, that being said, you will need a tune for it so you dont run lean between shifts.

west virginia is so fun to ride.. they have great trails
