A scene from Alice in Wonderland starring Carol Marsh. Lyrics: I was the very least of the very largest litter Of the very poorest family in the wood My brothers never ceased And my life was very bitter Til I learned the knack of grabbing what I could He followed all the rules For right or wrong The rules I make up as I go along I play the game Play it politely Play the game Morning, noon, and ...

Duchess: Speak roughly to your little boy And beat him when he sneezes He only does it to annoy Because he knows it teases I speak severely to my boy I beat him when he sneezes For he can throughly enjoy The pepper when he pleases Once I was close to the Queen Then she contrived my decline At first I was second And second I was third And third I was forth And fourth I was fifth Like pearls befo...

An extender version of this wonderful song from a VHS copy that I have. Much of this song was cut from the DVD version. Lyrics: Alice: Everything is getting curiouser And curiouser And it's not the way I planned Adventures all around me Delight me and astound me In this topsy-turvy land. Curiouser and curiouser I’m upside down I’m down side up It started early today I felt like dancing on the c...

I had this on VHS when I was a kid! 😂
This wasn't in the book
This is creepy I dare say this version of duchess scene is even creepy than the 1933 version of the Duchess who with me
Shakespeare in love
For all we know, Viola could be devoured by cannibals. The point is that she is FREE.
LO VOY A DECIR BIEN ALTO: UN HOMBRE CON MUCHA PROFUNDIDAD, CON UNA CAPACIDAD DE QUERER SUPERIOR A ELLA, SI ELLA LE HACE ESTO, SE PUEDE SENTIR COMO UNA VIOLACIÓN DE SU AMOR. ASÍ PUES, PODRÍA HABER SIDO ASÍ LA SUPUESTA HISTORIA DE ESTA "JULIETA". UN MATRIMONIO QUE NAUFRAGA EN AGUAS ENFURISMADAS POR SU MALA CONCIENCIA, POR HABER SIDO UNA INCONSCIENTE, DANDO SU NOMBRE , LA RESPUESTA A MUCHOS PORQUÉS. VIOLA!!!
Que bella banda sonora tiene esta película....Es como estar en un sueño maravilloso. Me gusta este final triste ...
Holkham Beach, Norfolk
“Bit with a dog”. A bit is for a horse. A dog is a dog.
Only the music carries the finale.
ALGUIEN TE MIENTE. LA HISTORIA NO ÉS LA MISMA.
Although I adore Pia in Elisabeth, I think Maya portrayed Sisi much more “real“. Her attitude, voice, gestures. Pia’s Sisi was very dramatic, expressive sometimes even “mad“. Maya’s Sisi is more human, regal and heartbroken.
One of the saddest things Ihave ever seen in a long life. sad😥
Im so obsessed with this song
"you will never age for me, nor fade, nor die"
If you go to Holkham beach in Norfolk you may just be lucky enough to see her walking across the sand
Bellissimo film...ma non capirò mai perché nel finale ( titoli di coda) tutti i network "tagliano" . .e poi la sigla finale di questo splendido film con il crescendo valga la pena di essere ascoltata
This wonderful segment flows into Twelfth Night as Rogue One flows into A New Hope.
Greatest soundtrack of all time
Truly, truly perfect.
I still can't believe Saving Private Ryan lost to this. Still, it's a pretty nice movie.
Lost love we all know that feeling
One of the best end credits. Unfortunately not an Oscar quality movie, i.e. 'Saving Private Ryan', which should have won. Side note: Jim Carter and real life wife Imelda Staunton, play the same character. The Nurse, his in the play, hers in the real life. Coincidence? I think not.

the young girl playing alice is very beautiful
good video good scene
Beautiful! :)
Get's me weepy every time, the music, the emotion, the goosies
At 13 I was hopelessly love sick over this actress. I can still feel a vestige of it watching this at 66.
A Dream that comes true on a shipwrecked island when he meets the love of his life Juliet a mermaid and saves her from a net where she is tangled up in on a ship that has been wrecked just beyond the Island where he lives. He sees the shipwreck .and which he swims out to save people it was an unknown island and the Strom that was on the horizon heading straight his way he knew he had to help people on the ship get to shore and the mermaids name is viola.we will work together on this to finish it up I have some trumendous Ideals and poetry for this movie..thank you miss Wanda Middleton nickname (Viola) reason (mermaid) pieces is my sign!
And her name will be Viola
The 1915 version of Alice in wonderland recites this part.
I hate love.
I grew up watching this omg!!
This version of Alice in Wonderland is my all-time favorite. I love these stop-motion scenes that Lou Bunin masterminded, and I think Carol Marsh is the loveliest actress to play Alice. Seeing this just lightens my heart! Thanks for uploading.
This is the best version of Alice of any film. And I’ve seen them all. It’s the closest to the book.
This is by far the best written and most accurate film version of Alice in all the history of Alice films and I’m a devotee. The characters are based off people Lewis Carroll knew , so they are really playing into that role. And the songs are very well written with a touch of that dry British humour
This version is my favorite, too!
This reminds me of James and the Giant Peach

I love the soundtrack! 😍😘😗😙😚💚💚
Happily, the score is an Oscar winner. Stephen Warbeck deserved it.
watch mine :D u`ll love it czcams.com/video/OAPZWNXpGOc/video.html
Goosebumps! That's the only word that can describe this ending. And Stephen Warbeck's accompanying score is just magical
It was his end credits music that really sealed the deal with me in regards to his music and the film. I have only seen two other films with his brilliant music; Proof (2004) and Flawless (2007). Why is he not more appreciated? Obviously, he has scored other films, but you probably never hear of them.
Tears. There is a second word. ;-)
I watched this vhs over and over as a child. It's an unrecognized diamond in the rough.
LOVE JOSEPH FIENNES WITH ALL MY HEART AND ALWAYS WILL
I love this part
Really enchanting song, does anyone who wrote it?
The songs were written by Sol Kaplan with Lyrics by Henry Myers and Albert Lewin
