Hands down one of my favorite channels. The quality of work is always amazing!
Thank you! I really appreciate that. I’m glad you like it.
How many hours do you think you have in this? looks great! I'd like to make one for my 1972 f26
That’s really hard to calculate. I did it off and on over a month. To make a guess if I was to do it full time … about 2 days if I had all the materials.
Been following you since you posted the camper shell build. Love your channel buddy. Everything you do looks great.
I really appreciate that. Thank you!
Doing Great Mate. Your a Lucky Man to have a 67 Crew in such Great Shape. Your definitely on the home stretch. Gonna be Awesome.
Thanks mate. Slowly chipping away 😃
It needs to be raised up 1in in the back to keep the tires out of the wheel wells other than that it's perfect.
that a ferguson not a massey ferguson. If it not made before 1958. but nice tractor! mine is a to30 1952
TEA 20 Harry Ferguson ?
Absolutely 👍🏻 😃
How would you do the ‘wrap’ on that outside edge if that was rusty?
Do you mean the little lip? If so no need to. Just fold some sheet and weld it onto the new repaired section.
Yea that side that would point to the back of the vehicle
Beautiful work as always 👏
Thank you! 😊
My 2 questions, 1, what's the handle for under the ignition switch, and 2, was it difficult for you to learn how to drive a left hand steer truck, as opposed to right hand?
Hey man. The handle is the emergency brake. Learning to drive on the opposite side of the vehicle yet on the same same side of our roads is quite normal for us over here. A small price to pay 😊
Great video, I appreciate the info! Gonna dig into it here in a few days .
Let me know how you go!
That is awesome!!! The finish product is great. You are an excellent craftsman.
Thank you. I appreciate that!
Love it. Just the perfect amount of funky. My bare metal 70 F250 would love to have one just like it.
Perfect amount of funky… love it 😂Thanks.
That’s badass! The back glass is a killer touch.
Thank you!
Very nice work! Definitely subscribing to see what else you do! Keep it up!
Thank you!!
That is the nicest truck I’ve ever seen. Fantastic job.
Thank you!
Cool truck! Looking forward to seeing the progress! Those quad cabs are hard to come by.
Thank you for watching!
Amazing work boss!!
Thank you!
Well now I gotta go check out my yoke. lol. Thx for the pointers
Nice update! The Golden Child is looking and sounding great too! The door panels turned out great and those steelies are the way to go on those old Fords
Many thanks!
Great job! Love these old Bumpsides. We’re almost finished with our 68 Highboy all the way over in Utah, USA! Should have a video up soon. Gonna start driving her !! Keep up the great work.
Thank you. Utah! One of my favorite places. We’re heading over in September! I’ll check out your highboy. Is it on your CZcams?
Yup. 🙂.
You can try and use a strut from a car that you're familiar with! Maybe a shorter type since the lid is smaller the the back of a typical SUV
Thanks a good idea 👍🏻 I made a little make-do system. I’ll see how that works for the short term.
Wow such a GREAT job on the fabrication ❤
Thank you! 😊
it's either a lot of work or it's a lot of money sometimes both
That can’t be closer to the truth!
Far out this came up amazing. Very well done
Thank you!!
Fantastic work. That works very well.
Thanks Matt!
My 1975 Ford highboy was the exact same color
Do you still have it?
Absolutely Fabulous
The Pullman camper shell has a very similar profile, we have a 1960s pullman camper with a swing out door , it’s a great shell that we love , keep up the good work and looking forward to your finished product!
Thanks so much. I appreciate it! Pullman. That’s interesting. I had someone ask me recently on Facebook who originally made these camper shells. I’ll mention Pullman as I didn’t know.
No problem boss , if you need pics of the shell for ideas or anything just let me know can email some .
I appreciate that. Thank you. My email is rossnaumov@gmail.com I'm always up for some reference photos. @@OmarCastaneda-is3gz
Absolutely wonderful work. What primer sealer did you use on the underside?
Thanks mate. I appreciate that. It was red oxide from Bunnings. I’m trying to achieve an OEM look so I’ll do the wheel wells in body colour and get some overspray happening like the factory did.
Lovely!!! That’s a perfect job!
Thank you! Cheers!
What thickness was that steel? Thanks mate
Same as original. 1.2mm
Absolutely awesome work. I wish I had the time to do that on mine. 😍
Thank you! I appreciate that.
Hello,quit nice work,looks great👍🏻🍀🛠, left just a abo I have a little channel to .Greetings.Hubertus🇳🇱🇳🇴☮🙏🏻
Great video Ross! I really like the way you improvised on the rounded corners! The single centered side windows are going to look great. It definitely gives it a more vintage look! Looking forward to part two!
Thank you my friend! I’m glad you enjoyed it. Working on finishing it off as we speak.
The 352 crank shaft part number should be C5TZ-6A312-A or C1AZ-6A312-C for easy identification. I’m glad you are keeping the 352! It may be small but they are good engines. Back before they started choking them down with emissions. The 67 352 is actually rated with more hp that a 1972 390 believe it or not. 208hp to 201hp respectfully!
Thanks Matt. That’s some good information and even more reason to keep the 352. I’m struggling to find a part number but I’ll keep searching. I did find a 2 letter or number stamp on the 3rd journal from the snout but it’s only half stamped on the journal. It might have been a Friday!
@@stacks_and_setbacks maybe so! I got a 67 highboy that “had a 390” it did have a mercury 390 air cleaner to give them credit. So I pulled the engine and checked the part number on the crank and it was the c5 352 number 🤣 when someone is selling one they always have a 390 in them. The guy I got it from wanted to keep the 390. I told him it was still the original 352 just with a 390 air cleaner but he still wanted it.
@@stacks_and_setbacks just went and watched the video to make sure I was right and I wasn’t. Crank was c4ae but still came back to a 352 in my part number book. Here is the video on that one. czcams.com/video/qi1bBY6Dn6I/video.htmlsi=6C72zE23d0DoMvlD
@MattKubik1791 that is so true! My red and white 68 highboy was sold to me as a “390”. I always assumed it was until I checked it recently. It turns out it’s a 360 which is what the VIN says it should have. Not only that, most of the part numbers are 68 truck so that’s even better. I’m learning with these trucks that everyone just defaults to ‘It’s a 390’ 😂
@@MattKubik1791 just watched it. Thanks Matt. I'll get back onto finding a part # on that crank and let you know. I got stuck into some body work today
my 1963 ford 352 had some learning for me. like the rockers need to come off push rods out to get the 75 pound intake off. also found that there is one rocker stud bolt that is slightly smaller in diameter and is used in one special hole on each side to allow oil to come up the length of the stud to fill the rocker tubs. interesting design for sure.
Yes I remember that special bolt from the red truck. It was in the wrong place and I reckon that’s why I had a collapsed lifter. Interesting design as you said. Build like a brick shit house though 😂
What a beautiful rig man. I know Im commenting a year to late. But damn it brings back memories. My dad had a 77 highboy Ford midnight metallic blue 4 spd. Nice friggin ride buddy you definitely have a gem.
Thank you so much man. I appreciate that!
Nice work. Love the VW front beam also
This is a cool fresh build. Look forward to seeing it come together
Outstanding. As someone who has done a lot of this I can really appreciate how much you have put into this repair. Mint job man.
As I get older I’m leaning to cutting less corners. Thank you again brother!
We wanna see it run!!
We get it running in that video 😊
Beaut job man
Thanks Big Dog
Nice work!
Very decent truck! Congrats!
L I K E 👍🏿👍🏽 👍🏻👍🏽 👍🏿🤩😇 🤩😇🤩 💯💯💯💯💯
Cool truck! Very rare. 67's are a breed all their own. I've owned mine 20 years now.
Many thanks. Do you have a crew?
@@stacks_and_setbacks I do. Mine is an F350 with the long bed.
Good stuff
So much going on there. First your diff angle is way wrong, its pointing too far down And your lift on the truck means that the slip joint isnt engaging anywhere deeply enough ,thats why its flogged out. You can see by the wear pattern that it is barely engaged in the slip joint. Total movement in and out of the slip joint might be less than 2 in so it needs to go way deeper together so the splines are fully engaged in the forward part. Would be better to put the grease in the female part first rather than on the male part. That way the grease stays inside the slip joint. Also it has a grease nipple , use it till you fill that sucker up to squeeze out.
Sorry, what part are you referring to?
Thanks Matt@@MattKubik1791
