I did enjoy them but I feel like one needs to be an adult to really grasp their complexity. I have Missing White Woman and Out of Office on my TBR for June. I'm in such a thriller and romance mood

Good morning! I heard Toni Morrison's books are a tough read. However, some people told me to read The Bluest Eyes, so, I will start with that one. I saw the movie Beloved and it confused the heck out of me. I needed to start from the beginning, but I changed my mind because I don't watch or read those kinds of books. I have been reading books about friendships and books with mature characters (40+). I enjoyed your video. Oh yeah, I have been seeing that book "Out Of Office" lately. Let me know how you like it.

I 100% understand what you mean about Contemporary Fiction! Most popular contemporary romance books are romance focused. I like finding books that have romance as a subplot or not at all! Gotta check out Clare Pooley. You should read Must Love Books by Shauna Robinson

Since you love poetry, have you tried books in verse? The Poet X is great and The Long Way Down by Jason Reynolds. I’ve read quite a few and those 2 are my favorite
