(i assume you are doing in CS), you will join a company as a software engineer/ solution engineer where you will be given coding tasks by your manager. If you do MBA after B.Tech (CS) you will be the manager who will take plans from top management and then delegate them to the team of engineers under you.

Yes there are many merit and profile based scholarships in top B-Schools even at IIM Ahmedabad. Please, don't feed this excuse to your mind ki "i can't afford that fees toh zyada CAT percentile laane ka koi fyada nahi hai" this is a destructive thought. Just focus on your CAT score aim for 99%ile and get into BLACKI, you'll get collateral free loans, Scholarships just so you can become the one taking your family and yourself out from middle-class trap! Yes, i don't recommend taking 100% education loan for colleges having less than 20 LPA average package.

What is your percentile? Low percentile can be subjective, i have a crazy friend who got 97%ile and took CAT again for 99% because apparently 97 was low for him.

Everyone in my knowledge is, dubious of dot 100% though!

Get your MBA degree from a good college!

There is no absolute CAT score for reserved categories buddy, it depends on the students that apply under the category for a particular year and their CAT scores. Although the higher your score is, its better but try and touch 75-80%ile atleast.

Almost everyone has got placed until now, UBS has a floor CTC of 7.5-8 LPA for any company to come and hire from campus and i think this would be the minimum placement offered to the last of the students.

Many of seniors have passed from ubs and they scored between 85-90 they still got admission.

I too got in with 80%ile into HR and EP program, there are many factors that determine cutt offs for a particular year. Previous years have not been as rewarding due to revival after covid and then recession.

Yes bro, it is similar to MBA only. It's just that private universities can not give MBA degree, only government or national institutitions can give MBA degree. It's just a nomenclature difference, just choose the right college.

I don't suggest online MBA buddy, it's hardly of any use. If you still really want it, go for the one that gets you the degree for least cost. I'd suggest you to go for Executive MBA programs rather!

Yess, it's a decent college!

I think they have thier exam CUCET which is easy and gets you fee waiver. However the placement record is not as good there. I won't suggest if you can hold on for a while and take CAT and OMETs to get into a renowned Business school.

Not in my view, if you have an option to get into better bschools why not ? If you don't have an option to wait or take risk of the exam you can take it, but it's not worth it according to me. If you decide to go, atleast score well in their exam CUCET it's very easy and gets you fee waiver.

Both have their pros and cons. Govt job is more secure, private job through MBA will get you comparatively more money but with more pressure and responsibilities. It depends on what do you consider more important!

Not Amity, which Symbiosis in Pune ? SIBM, SCMHRD, SIIB are good rest of them don't offer as good of an ROI but are still better than Amity.

I have had people talking not so good about it. I personally won't recommend if you have better options. However, please speak to current students of the college before taking a decision.

It is a decent college with 12-13 LPA average package, it depends on the options you have after CAT results.

Nahi bro, mostly Gurgaon, NCR, Bangalore, Mumbai, Ahmedabad. Only 1-2 roles would be in Chandigarh.

If you actually complete your MBA gracefully and are fulfilled, you're already trained to take care of that pressure. That's why i mentioned, do MBA only and only from a good college!

You are eligible, minimum 50% required in Bachelor's degree. Just score well above 92-94%ile in CAT and perform well in GDPI you'll get a seat.
