My sister bf got the 250 in 1980 when they came out. His had the red decals. Were the blue decals put on a later year or were both colours available on launch? I seem to remember a few with the red ones round my town of High Wycombe. I was 13 when these came out.

Wow! Yammie only imported the RX50 version of this bike here to the states. Looks the same except the exhaust didn't have the heat shield on it. They were raffle bikes, never sold by dealers here but you could register to win one. What brand/type of polish do you use to clean the chrome on the chrome pipes? Also, do you use an orbital style buffer? I'm looking to clean up one of the pipes on my '74 GT550. Thank you in advance for your awesome videos and keeping our two-stroke dreams alive!
