Curious question. My brother gave me his old S8+ because my Poco F2 Pro died. The s8+ is carrier locked to a network i dont like and i dont eant to use sim3 for my main sim and id rather have it for microsd since the phone is only 4/64 and im a content creator using phone as camera. My question is, if i install lineageOS over a port:d oneui rom, will the camera quality suffer? Or is it still as good as the stock camera? Because i am currently choosing betqeen ROMX V2 (modified stock rom) or HadesROM V3 (oneui 2.5 ported from note 9).

Hi! I am a new Galaxy S8+ user. My S8+ was given to me by my brother. It's an old phone of his and is carrier locked on sim1. It's kinda costly to have this openlined by 3rd party technicians so my last resort is to use custom roms (im also considering lineageOS but only if my 2 concerns are addressed. 1.will the buld prop still show the device as Galaxy S8+? Because I have an online cash app that has this "one registered device policy" and it's already registered to my stock S8+. So im kinda concerned it may not work on custom roms unless the device info stays as S8+ SM-G955F. 2.Will the camera quality be affected should I opt to go for LineageOS instead? Because i use this device as my cameraphone for CZcams.
