Does the product come with the alcohol?
This was very detailed and easy to follow. Thank you
Thank you
How long it’s stays up ?
Can we use water instead?😊
Thank you for your question. Water would not work with polygel. You should use the slip solution like our video. Please click the link to read more: glowtips.co.uk/pages/what-are-some-alternatives-to-slip-solution . Hope this helps :)
Thank you for this very informative video!! When you mean cure it for both sides, do you mean flipping the nail so the under part gets cured for 60 sec too?!
Yes, you can cure both sides by flipping the nail. We usually recommend this to beginners, as they might apply too much product and may not be sure how to check if it's fully cured. If you're just starting your polygel journey, curing both sides ensures thorough curing. Once you gain some experience and know how much polygel to apply to each nail and the appropriate curing time, you can cure just the front side since you'll have a better sense of the correct product amount. Hope this clarifies your question :)
What kind of alcohol are we supposed to use for wiping?
Do you mean wiping the tacky layer of the polygel? You can also use the slip solution included in the kit, a nail cleanser containing alcohol, or 70% isopropyl alcohol. Do not use acetone. Gently wiping the nails is sufficient to remove the tacky layer. Hope this helps :)
So glad i found this. What I had been doing wrong was not waiting for the slip solution to evaporate before placing the gel/nail mold on my actual nail (every attempy the gel just peeled right off my nail bed). The other thing i didnt realize was placeing the nail 3/4 on and THEN sliding it up to the cuticle 😅 i keep being left with extra exceess pushed out the sides lol. And last very helpful tip ill be using is making the sides thin and ghe middle thicker. Thanks for doing this video for us

Thank you so much for your kind words. If you enjoy this video, I recommend you to watch this video from us too, dual form 101 : czcams.com/video/x82Vd58vHnI/video.html . Hope this helps you more in your polygel nail journey :)
What kind of alcohol do I need to wipe off the sticky layer from the polygel? I bought some polygel myself and it has a tacky surface even after I cured it 3 times, I also use rubbing alcohol instead of slip solution as I do not have any, what should I use to wipe off the tacky layer? 🤗
Hi, you could use your slip solution to wipe it off too. Slip solution has alcohol content in it, so after you cure your polygel then dap your slip solution with a lint free cotton to gently wipe off the tacky layer. Hope this helps :)
❤
Thanks, really good tutorial!! I can't wait to start doing my nails! Btw, how do you remove it?
Thank you for watching and for your kind words! For helpful tips, check out our removal video here: czcams.com/video/RWENfvD79JU/video.html. We also recommend watching our other videos for in-depth tips and tricks, perfect for polygel nail beginners. Hope this helps :)
One thing I would like to know is: once the polygel solution is used, should it be thrown away or can it be reused ?
Great question! Once the polygel solution is used on the gel, it should evaporate by air. If you have any leftover solution that’s clean and free from debris, you can pour it back into the slip solution bottle and reuse it. Just ensure your brush is clean before and after use. If there's polygel stuck to your brush, dip it in the solution and use a paper towel or lint-free wipe to remove the leftover gel. I hope I answered your question :)
So, I was looking for a tutorial just like this but I didn’t find anything. Finally I have this video and it was my salvation. I am a beginner so it is perfect for me. Thanks for your work.

I just did a set for the first time yesterday and I applied it as thin as she did and all my tips starting snapping off the next day how do you avoid this without making the nail too thick ?
Hi, we're here to help. Could you let us know if you are using dual forms to create the extensions? If they snap off, it might be due to using too little product. Are you making your nails longer than shown in the video? Longer nails require more product to hold the extension properly. As this is your first time, it's normal for it not to be perfect. Don't worry! Keep practicing until you find the right amount of product for your desired length. We've created another video for beginners that might be helpful: czcams.com/video/sKoO5gRhtQU/video.html
@@glowtipsofficial yes dual forms , and no actually a little shorter than this , I can't seem to get the amount right on the apex in one application I'm having to go back and add extra to the nail after the form comes offb
@@Truckerbabe89 Don't be discouraged! It's perfectly fine to go back and add a little more product to your nail. Nail technicians do this all the time, so don't worry if you need to revisit your nail to add more product. Keep trying and add a little more gel each time on the dual form until you find the sweet spot of product used. The goal is to get enough product on your nail to ensure it lasts for 2-3 weeks. Getting the perfect amount of polygel the first time isn't the priority right now; with more practice, you'll get there eventually. Keep trying! 💪
Can the chrome be used with any type of gel products? Such as CND?
Hi! Yes, our liquid chrome can be applied on top of gel products, as long as you apply a no-wipe top coat before applying the liquid chrome
You make it look so easy ❤
Hi the base coat i use doesn't keep the nails for too long can you add nail glue
Hi, it's not recommended to use nail glue instead of a base coat before applying polygel. Nail glue is designed for adhering nail tips and isn't formulated to bond with polygel effectively. A proper base coat ensures better adhesion, prevents lifting, and protects your natural nails. Using the correct base coat will give you the best results and longevity for your polygel nails. If your current base coat is not good enough, try the same brand polygel base coat. This is because products from the same brand are formulated to work well together. Hope this helps
😍🌹
I have the curved dual forms and they leave a gap between my nails so my nails are thick and take time to dry
Did it manage to dry properly in the end? As long as it dries well, even if it takes longer, it's not wrong. If it doesn't cause lifting or breakage, then you're on the right track.
Very helpful video. When I put mine nail in the heating lamp it was a burning felling is that normal. .
Thank you, I am glad that you find this video helpful. The burning sensation you feel when curing polygel under a nail lamp is likely due to the rapid polymerization process. When the UV or LED light hits the polygel, it triggers a chemical reaction that generates heat, known as an exothermic reaction. If you use our brand polygel and our nail lamp, you won't experience this burning sensation because we thoroughly tested our products together before production. If you are using a different brand, try using the low-power mode on your nail lamp. It will take longer to dry, but at least for the first 30 seconds cure until the polygel it's cured, then switch to the normal mode to continue curing. This process is called gradual curing. I hope this answers your question :)
I forgot to answer your question. Yes, it's normal for this to happen with gel products, including builder gel. It depends on the ingredients used by the manufacturer. The heat spike you feel is according to that.
Oh they really came out beautifully ❤❤❤❤❤
Glad you love it 🥰
How to wash the brush ? With normal water r any other liquid
Hi, to properly wash a nail brush, start by wiping off any excess product using a lint-free wipe or paper towel. Next, dip the brush into a brush cleaner or 70-90% isopropyl alcohol/ slip solution and gently swirl it around to dissolve the product. After cleaning, rinse the brush with lukewarm water to remove any remaining cleaner or alcohol. Once rinsed, gently reshape the bristles with your fingers to ensure they maintain their shape. Lay the brush flat on a clean paper towel or lint-free cloth to air dry, avoiding standing it upright to prevent water from seeping into the handle and causing damage. Finally, once the brush is dry, store it with a protective cap or in a brush holder to keep the bristles in good condition. Regular cleaning will extend the life of your nail brush and ensure optimal performance. Hope this helps :)
Interesting!!!!
Glad you think so!

How do u do the fill ins or maintain them after u wore them for a few weeks?
We've put together a video on fill-ins! Check it out here: czcams.com/video/_65aSyPQTHg/video.html
Merhabalar bir şey merak ediyorum top coatı neden süslemelerin üzerine sürmedin? .

Currently doing them rn but struggling I’ve been at it since 9am n it’s now 3 pm 😅 idk why the sides always come out w a clear line! The dual forms fit perfectly. Last weekend when I tried they popped off within minutes, today I fixed that issue but got another one 😮💨😭
Can you file or buff the clear line after curing the polygel? As long as the polygel covers the entire nail without any gaps or contact with your skin, it should be fine.
Also question is poly gel supposed to be soft like a hard plastic because I find that with enough pressure I can literally just bite them off in half and I’m not sure if it’s me or if that’s just how gel is supposed to be like
@@glowtipsofficial thank you and yeah, I think I can. It’s weird because it’s still looks like the poly gel and it feels like the poly gel but it just creates like this weird clear line. I’m not sure if I’m pushing too hard but I think I’m ready to switch to gel or acrylic because it’s giving me such a hard time lol thank you so much for answering my question. I appreciate it and these are run on sentence currently have to use Siri.😮💨

Soooo too much slip solution can cause them to pop off 30 mins after too?! 😭 bc i think that’s what happened to me yesterday…also I was able to easily break the nails on half they felt more like plastic than gel 😮
Hello, thank you for tuning in. If you've used an excessive amount of slip solution, allow it to air dry a bit longer to ensure it's completely dry before curing. It's important to avoid trapping the slip solution within the polygel, as curing only the outer layer can lead to a less durable gel. You only need enough slip solution to easily maneuver the product around. Remember, practice makes perfect. Focus on one nail at a time and then cure.
Please what liquid did u use.
It's the slip solution from our brand - glowtips.co.uk/products/glowtips-slip-solution-75ml

Do I have to cut my natural nails all off? It’s not that long, but I just see a lot of people with their nails filed off with poly gel
If your natural nails are in good condition, not broken or damaged, there's no need to trim them before applying polygel. Polygel not only enhances your nails' appearance but also adds a protective layer that aids in their growth and strengthening. Many customers turn to polygel when they find it difficult to grow their nails due to weakness. It's crucial, however, to avoid filing too much of the polygel down to your natural nails during removal or when doing an infill. If you're interested in learning how to safely remove polygel, we have a tutorial video available: czcams.com/video/RWENfvD79JU/video.html
I bought Morvan poly gel. I buff my nails. I use a dehydrator, the nail gets hard and cures under the lamp but for some reason it is not sticking to my nail bed. The poly gel comes off completely. Does anybody know what I’m doing wrong?
Hi, thanks for reaching out and watching our video! I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble with your poly gel. Even though you've used a different brand, I'm here to help. It sounds like you're doing everything right with buffing and dehydrating. Have you tried applying a base coat right after the dehydrator? The base coat can enhance adhesion, helping the poly gel stick to your nail bed more effectively. Give this a try and see if it makes a difference!
That's what happens to me. Tried to do my thumb nail ×2 and no luck so I gave up for today lol
