@@jackbenny984 I do and don’t and also it is dependent on size and build and several things. For bigger players though flats are important and percentages are as well you need them to combat big siege rallies

@tim292926 Thanks for the advice , I'll collect the fragments without ascension until getting enough. We don't trust Evony that much 😹 not sure that he'll be available long enough before they change him again 😉.

@@Evony-ky3js it’s a bit hard to say. Build is important debuff a buffs, etc. research… if it was the first rally there’s a problem but we see huge rallies as well. A lot of info needed to give a good recommendation

@@tim292926 I’m going to train more high tier cav it’s very dangerous but I don’t see any other solution as of now for myself

@@tim292926 I’m not 💯 sure if high tier cav slow down the penetration to the t-1

@@tim292926 I got archer rally killed all my Cavs and penetrated into my t-1 on the next rally it was cav and zeroed me im very light on high tier cav im heavy on siege but did nothing against cav rally neither did my archer I find archer does better against ground! But im going to try training a bit more high tier cav see if it will slow down the penetration into my t-1 Cavs wish me luck

@@AsawarAujla but also Baldwin gives a lot more Shp debuff and against elite players that is more valuable

@@AsawarAujla I understand that in watching my videos you will note all my generals have upgraded ach rings. If I mis spoke my apologies but what I was referring to is that aside from civilian gear the only armor that debuff archer attack is ares gear I trust this confusion has now been out to rest

@@AsawarAujla understood and yes the ring is good. The armor discussed is kind of my secret weapon against the whales massive rallies and if I’m honest I’ve fallen off a little against massive rallies. But correct yes the ach ring is the best choice for most and if I’m honest there is t slot of civ bracers that are good for sub generals also they are expensive 😆

@@Sid_2007 some of it was high end sub generals. Civ gear on sub generals but also Nero as a free to play sub general he is one of the most crucial. Through specs and ascension he is 51% all troops hp debuff.

@@benson9148 I don’t actually calculate it. I just compare the starting number and rising number to get an idea. At 135 it’s insanely high when compared to the early generals for instance when I started Alfred the great was the best archer general and there was no equal til Simeon came along

@@tim292926your account is very impressive for still being k40. Some tech from MA6 and MA7 will really help you out against rallies like ours. Your debuffs are really really good for your troop composition. Focusing leveling the keep and adding some higher tier siege/cav will help. Your t15 and t14 killed more than died so that’s a good sign. We were also kinda trimmed on siege from hitting Psycho and North 😂

@@Sid_2007 I don’t use 5th spec on duty and on subs it’s only used for the debuff and in testing it’s proven to apply to the debuff

@@Sid_2007 absolutely correct though duty and sub generals are independent from the main city. However having high tier sub troops that fight with your city will create in my case a t15 dynamic when they fight together. They won’t add to the buffs. If you don’t have the ability to max spec a sub general there isn’t any point in using runes aside from the second spec that does apply to subs. The 4th spec on subs is the most important. I’ll have to run a test on the duty officers as I’ve never heard of the 4th spec not working on duty officerd

@@Celeb_Gamers realized it was the only way I would survive lol. So when I coined that’s what I aimed to get. Elite sub generals but there are ways to be strong aside from that as well.

​@@tim292926 So Marshall and Brock but Brock as main defense ? Armour on both general ? As for Academy, advancement, defense, military are maxed and rest I'm about 60-70% complete, apart from defense advance as I haven't unlocked that yet

@@seanster1985 whichever you can do as far as main and assistant my teammate red rover used ithat combo both ways and he was very strong both ways.

I just need to make sure I keep the bubble up because I have forgotten a couple of times and it's cost me, probably would be close to 700mil instead of 400mil. If I had to choose after listening to you I would say for me more defence. Like I said it's much appreciated 🙌

They don't work on assistant generals.

Derrick still does great work but most of his tests are with assistant generals. I removed the speed books from my wall general for some battlefields. I honestly believe I did better with them on so I put them back.

It really is a matter.of opinion at this point but I believe Evony should tell us if the books work or not.

@@RedDeerEnquiries the idea is the ascension and free to play it will be hard to get SHP debuffs so she is solid. Also build can effect a lot don’t build a lot of high tier siege build t11 and down and run flats on your general. My new siege dynamic video will come out soon as well it all depends on how your built. Also do her total numbers. If Nero gives you the same siege hp debuff build him he debuffs all hp

@@joshuavoltz-lz3vu they work as a meat shield against siege first the t1-4 must be cleared along with t11-15 and your t5-10 tiers aren’t touched until the t11 are zeroed which comes last after low tier are gone. This is where there is value in making t5-10 as they can’t be touched til the 11 are gone but they will still kill.

@@simonrgalesg correct in the video I said I use all ach rings…. I said as far as ARMOR there is only one piece of armor outside of civ gear that debuffs archer attack

@@michanoreiga8227 that seems to make sense to me I’m sure you’ve gone flats on the refines? Once it’s all in place flats is the route for traps but also all accounts need some flats
