I explain how I would program for deadlift only meet and go into some detail as far as what days. Deadlift can also be done at the beginning of the week also. I didn’t mention that in the video. Just swap squat and dead days for your Preference.

    1100 pound squat is a 1100 pound squat whatever way you look at it, it's a heavy ass squat and you were the first to do it anyone calling it a good morning probably couldn't total 1100.

    I feel your pain. I do combat sports and because of the impingement in my right elbow I finally needed surgery. The amount of bone spurs and debris removed was incredible and I’m 10 days out. I say it was worth the time especially to get rid of the pain and to be able to open up my fight. Had my other arm done and as you elucidated, will get better. Good luck to you my friend!

    I think I got one growing on my tip of my elbow and I can't even bench press or do any tricep movements and I'm going the doctor real soon to take a look at it but it's been going on for months I didn't know until I took a look and there's like a big spur or I think is a spur on the tip and I used to go to bench 320 pounds and now I can't lift it all

    • @gogginsforce3073
      @gogginsforce3073 Před 4 lety

      Gabe that sucks! The only thing the surgery did for me was cut the bone spurs out. Other than that I think it made it worse! So fuck surgery unless it’s absolutely necessary! Good luck

      @@gogginsforce3073 Thanks for the reply sir. I just seen them today an he confirmed it was a bone spur an showed me the x-ray he said it looked to him that it was tender an painful an is probably causing my tricep tendon to become inflamed so he said after 8 weeks to come back an if it still hurts they will shave it off. He was frustrated because after i went to the doctor 12 times for this issue they never mentioned or found out i had it till now.

    I love how people always have an opinion on how they think things should be done. I had a friend who was always critical of my form, but when ever we went out in public people always asked me if I was a body builder and not her, even though I just worked out to stay fit and she was the body builder. Maybe she should have lifted like me.

    If I had to do it again. I wouldn’t. My elbow is worse than before. It was a little better for about 4 months then slowly went back to hurting. Range of motion is worse. It just depends on what your problem is.

    • @RingsideReporterLive
      @RingsideReporterLive Před 5 lety

      No disrespect but you can't go back to doing the things that you did that got you there in the first place. Obviously you should still train but you can't keep overloading the joints like you are doing. That's the problem. Lower the weights and incorporate more machine exercises in your workouts. I learned the hard way. With all due respect to Ronnie Coleman, look what all the heavy lifting did to him. The poor guy can barely walk. We all get old and must accept that our joints won't last forever.

    Awesome video!!! I squat very similar with a lot of hips, upper quad, and lower back too. To get your ass down more, did you think of squeezing your glutes at the top more? I’m just very curious because I get red-lighted on my depth as well. Looking forward to hearing back from you!!!

    I love the idea of a classic powerlifting division with standard, uniform single ply gear. I love raw powerlifting, but I'm rehabbing my 4th pec strain and at 38 years old, I realized I'll never put up a true 1rm bench raw. I can do well, but a tear is virtually guaranteed if I went all out raw. I'm tired of seeing an equipped guy put up a 600 lb bench when I see him struggle to bench 365 for 5 when I can fan that shit and my bench is a only 435 raw.
