Hi! I'm sorry you're having trouble with bubbles in front of the card 🥲. The way I avoid them is moving the card around like you've tried. I usually push the card down in the resin to get bubbles to come up and resin to cover the rest of the card. I move the card around to then get any bubbles that are still trapped underneath. I know I still get some small bubbles/microbubbles sometimes. For popping bubbles in general I just use a heat gun as well after mixing and in the mold. I don't think I ever get rid of bubbles/microbubbles 100% completely, but their so small that it doesn't bother me. I don't think you're doing anything wrong! It may just come with practice and continuing to try those different techniques. You could test and see if the resin is maybe heating up too much before it's even being poured and having the card in it? I know once my resin gets too hot to a certain point it's hard to get rid of bubbles and actually gives me more. Using a silicone stir stick instead of a wood popsicle stick could help with bubbles as well when it comes to the mixing process! Again, I'm sorry it's giving you so much trouble and I'm not able to give any new advice/help out better :c. Sometimes with giant and small bubbles if they create a hole on your piece after demolding... You can dome the front of your piece with more clear resin to patch the holes up. Just another thing you could potentially do to fix the piece from having those bubbles towards the end!

I think I've heard "myca" be used more, so I've probably been saying it wrong this whole time 😅😭.

Hi! I have some pieces; keychains, charms, trays, etc where I can still see the plastic outline. I even have that when I use resin foil inserts as well. Some of my items I can't see an outline at all! What I've noticed is that it's really hit or miss. So it's completely normal! Other shops have this as well. You could get close to not seeing the outline by cutting as much of the plastic/tape away as possible. This is hard to do with the stickers since you need some of that outline there for the stickers not to bleed. Another thing you could look into is potentially mod podge for sealing stickers. I've never used it myself, but I know that's what some shops use for their paper stickers. I'm personally ok with using tape and having those outlines sometimes, but I know it can be bothersome.

Hi! Thank you so much for your comment ☺. For the returnable service, if you're talking about EcoEnclose... I bought these bubble mailers since once it's used all the way (2 strips or even more then that) customers or their customers are able to recycle them or send them back to EcoEnclose. I personally considered that service for my customers to be able to use it. I haven't considered it for myself since I don't end up with the bubble mailer that needs to be recycled. Hopefully that makes sense! I haven't heard of the repack brand! I would have to take a look at them when I'm able to get in more eco friendly shipping supplies.

I'm really happy this video have been useful for you! Welcome to the resin community! Yes, silicone mats/doming mats are so nice when it comes to working with resin. It is difficult to get the shine back after sanding, the piece will be matte/scratched up unless you were to dome the spot that was sanded. There are some people that know how to sand a piece enough where you actually make it shine/clear again. But that involves going through a lot of sanding grits and even polishing the piece. I rather just sand problem areas and then dome it with UV or epoxy resin depending on the spot. Please let me know if you have any more questions! I'm happy to be able to help 🥰.

Hi Carol! Hmmm that's really odd. I usually have some sort of UV resin puddle due to adding a foil to my piece, but it always goes away once I add epoxy resin. I'm not sure what you could do differently... Is the UV resin curing completely? Have you tried only putting small amounts of UV resin, that way there's no UV resin puddles at all? Are the UV resins curing a different color for you? Both my UV resin and epoxy resin are clear, so when they combined the human eye can't see the before UV resin. You can also just use epoxy resin instead of using UV resin, I used to do that before I realized UV resin was so much faster. I'm sorry there's not much of a solution to my reply. I will try to ask a few other resin people and see what they have to say about the matter.

So I heard back from a couple of resin friends and it seems it unfortunately may be the UV resin you are using. Have you tried Limino or JDiction UV resin before? Here's what my friends told me: "It could also depends on the brand of UV resin they're using. I've heard of some UV resins that become cloudy once cured. I've only ever had this experience when I used a very cheap type of UV resin I got from China (aliexpress) but then I switched to a different brand and my issues went away! My UV also cured faster". "This has happened to me. It looks kind of like an oil slick. It's only happened to me with Solar Color Dust UV. I like it because it cures super hard, but I think I'll stop using it because it can shrink really bad and do the puddle look". I know this probably isn't the answer or solution you have hoped for since you have tried different UV resins, but it seems it unfortunately may be the cause of it.

Oh no no!! Tysm for responding to me!! And so quickly too!!🥰 Like u I have been using epoxy to place foils etc and thought uv resin would be an easy answer to this placement issue hehe.. I DO use only JDiction uv resin now tho!!🥰🥰 I'll never go back!! Its so great!! But since the uv and epoxy didn't "match" before I haven't tried again with JDiction's! I'll try and see if I can get a better "match" with these resins... I'm figuring ones refraction doesn't line up with the others to make them meld seamlessly! Lol... Reminds me kind of like when ur doing multiple epoxy pours and u let it cure completely before nxt layer.. how u get lines.. its clear on clear but u can see it🤔 hopefully that makes sense... For those ya just gotta do the nxt pour before fully cured ofc... All about timing in somethings! You and ur friends are so amazing to get back to me!! Ty again so much!! I'll have to give it another go with my better JDiction resin yay!! Would be lovely to be able to use this trick!🥰🥰🥰

I'll try a few things differently this nxt time😁 u have some good suggestions!🥰 Also yep clear uv and clear epoxy lol.. u can see the clear uv inside it.. kinda like if u used a glob of super glue or something.. it's the difference in their refraction ranges or something I believe.. so yeah I'm wondering if a different uv resin (like our newer awesome JDiction one) will do the trick! So soon I should be able to get you all some savings, similar to Alumilite products! Definitely let me know if you can get a better match with these resins. I completely understand those lines you get from epoxy pours! I especially get them in my trays since you can see the clear lines from me doming the front. That makes a lot of sense!
